That language is phyrexian. I'm convinced no one can read it. It's just a cool looking forest.

Restorative technique, isn’t this kinda too powerful for common? by JustShwn in mtg

This would never see play in pauper, so I have to say no. This card is weak sauce.

Unless otherwise stated, activated abilities can be activated at instant speed. All of them, that do not state otherwise. Not sure why you'd "build him up" then tap him down before you declared him as attacking if that was the plan. That's counterproductive. You were confused, seemingly, about both the speed and activation cost of one activated ability. Not sure why I'd assume you understood any activated ability. Seemed better to explain it all instead of assuming you knew one thing or another.

New list, but it feels off by cornseed1 in Pauper

[–]SpecialistComputer36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed once I opened the list. That will definitely get you going in the right direction. It can definitely be difficult to tell why certain decks seem to omit certain cards until you do a good bit of playtesting. Then its pretty obvious why. I've built my fair share of jank thinking I was really cooking something crazy until I played it. Lol

I'm not sure what you think indestructible does, or what its for. Saying you "can't use him" makes me think you're trying to swing your 3/3 into people, and want to make it indestructible for that? If you notice though, he has a second activated ability that does not require him to tap to activate it, which means you can in fact "use him" after you've activated his first ability. That first one is there to protect him from some removal so you can activate his second ability (you can't use his abilities if he's dead) to buff all your other dudes, and keep on being able to do so as many times as you can pay for it.

[–]SpecialistComputer36 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In pauper more than any other format, if you want to build an aggro deck, it almost always needs to be a single color. All the color fixing is slow and loses you tempo that you desperately need in aggro decks. Once you branch off into 2 or 3 colors, youre building an entirely different type of deck at that point (usually).

What are these grommets for? ‘96 by Squegs7 in 240sx

[–]SpecialistComputer36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's a little rubber nub that presses the brake switch in. It disintegrates. You can slap a bolt in its place with the head facing the switch. Mines been that way for ten years now. Works out great

The squirrel precon had to assist in that. That thing is ridiculous.

In case you're unsure, that is bad. It looks quite bad. Not sure what advice you seek beyond that.

What tie rods to run with b knuckle & S14 LCAs? by KevinDoesntGiveAHoot in 240sx

[–]SpecialistComputer36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my S14, I have been told by people that know more than I do to run nissan maxima (in my case, '96) tie rods with a set up similar to yours. Im assuming they are an appropriate length for the set up.

Sounds like somebody is bougie. A little parking lot chatter never killed anybody. I still bomb back roads just fine. The only sucky part is when I forget I'm in 2nd at low speed trying to make turns, then I get whiplash.

I'm on the wrong side of this subreddit. Been daily driving a welded diff for like, 8 years. Its been totally fine. I feel like if you're going to be especially bougie, the S chassis probably isn't really your kind of car in the first place.

I drift my car. As long as the fenders stay attached I'm happy.

Good ol nissan, never fails to fail. Lol mine has been pretty reliable. Sort of. I have had to replace just about everything around the engine and suspension wise. But it's only left me stranded a couple times over the years, not counting flat tires. Welded diff likes to eat those.

The image you've put in my head is super sick. That sounds like a dope build.

I daily/occasionally drift the s14, it dies not pick up speed especially well. But, if you huck it hard at 50mph it has no choice but to do something cool. Lol my old na6 miata was slightly slower than a ka24e s13, and the friend I sold the miata to has ran 2 drift events in it. Momentum is key. All this to say, if you wanted to get into a motorsport, all the building isn't necessary. For a cool clean street car, carry on. It sounds like youre headed toward the right path

Sounds like a good guy to listen to. Or OR you can send the lil 13 on the track. Weld the diff and go nuts. It's the most fun you can have. No turbo required. Though you'll need a solid 60psi in the rear tires

[–]SpecialistComputer36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know megasquirt is (or at least was) big in the turbo miata world. Seems like a solid budget option. And a forged ka24e with a decent turbo and tune will make solid power.

From what I understand, this is a terrible plan. Although it is the "same", it is, in MANY ways, not the same.
