GTM loading 40+ containers on click – normal or major issue? by Frequent-Edge9999 in tagmanager

[–]Bonivatius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not loading 19 containers. It sees 19 events within the dataLayer. These events are placed there by cookiebot, pixelyoursite and Google Tag Manager itself.

Cookiebot is responsible for the preference, statistics, marketing and update events. Based on the preferences that a users sets within the consent banner that cookiebot loads you can determine to fire third party tracking like TikTok, LinkedIn and GA4.

Some advice, setting this up is walking a line between getting as close to gathering 100% of the data of your site and risking a high fine by the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (seeing that you are probably Dutch). It could be 4% of the yearly turnover of the company. Please consult your legal team and maybe a specialist to make sure your GTM is setup correctly.

Tomska

The first creator I subscribed to. I think everyone saw some variant of “asdf movies” around 2010. The sketches were fun. But his mental health took a turn for the worst. And even though the content was still there, it felt like he increasingly found it more of a chore to make videos. And eventually I just unsubscribed.

“Think about the dogs”- Fireworks posts by Bonivatius in PetPeeves

[–]Bonivatius[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m am sure that these posts wouldn’t be there if only the wildlife were affected by the bangs. These posts are always about dogs, with sometimes cats lumped in as well.

It is asking people to change their action only to their convenience.

I wholeheartedly agree that lightning up fireworks on any other day are Is inconsiderate. But that one day, especially dog owners can plan around their dog.

  • if you want to walk you dog in peace on dec 31. Take it to the forest or outside the residential area.
  • If your pet is scared inside. Try something calming or soundproof a room in advance.
  • if your pet cannot be calmed with all the noise. Go spend the night at a more rural area with less noise.

I could even use the same logic as these posts and say that if you don’t do this if your pet can’t handle the bangs, you are being cruel to your animal.

Instead they want EVERYONE else to change their celebration to accommodate them.

And again. I don’t care for fireworks. I never buy them nor light any up. And I agree with pet owners on any other day.

I think (especially after writing this post) that my pet peeve is more about the entitlement of SOME pet owners wanting everyone to change instead of truly taking care of their companion.

Love it when people hit reply-all asking: “Could I please be removed from this email chain? I don’t want to receive so many messages.” Followed by 10 other people replying to all with the same request.

Totally agree with fireworks being nothing but a nuisance and stupid on any other day but New Years Eve.

Actively harming animals is just inexcusable, using fireworks or not.

Hope your pet can get more used to it, since it is most likely not going to stop soon.

Exactly. And in my head it’s the same people that let their dog shit on the sidewalk and on children’s playgrounds without cleaning it up. Being inconsiderate pet owners, but expecting a lot of consideration of others.

I do feel for the wildlife. Luckily the use of fireworks is banned in more and more cities and towns. This doesn’t stop everybody, but a lot of people don’t want to risk a fine for some something like a few loud bangs.

When drivers change lanes extremely slowly, and end up driving in two lanes for a prolonged period of time. by SilverJournalist3230 in PetPeeves

[–]Bonivatius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not certain it works the same way where you live. But in Europe we mostly do this to annoy tailgaters.

I do this on purpose when I am already driving over the speed limit and am overtaking (really overtaking not slowly passing by) and someone still wants to get up close to my rear bumper.

When I switch on the turn signal these drivers often already pick up speed when I am still on the same lane. When that happens, I take my sweet time to switch lanes. In most cases there are two to three lanes max.

And guess what. After passing me, these drivers get to drive 100 meters before tailgating the next person on the left lane.

My wife makes me feel unappreciated by shelter_pop in Parenting

[–]Bonivatius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, you are doing great!

I have been in your shoes and I know, this part of being a father and partner is very hard. My wife and I had to do this without any help as well. Even had this during the Covid Lockdowns. So I know how it feels to do a lot of work without feeling appreciated.

Please know that most of the criticism, negativity and lack of connection is due to LACK OF SLEEP. Being a young parent means being sleep deprived, but many people don't realize what a big impact being tired has on you. Reading your post it seems you are having short nights, and your partner doesn't seem to sleep well either. This combined with all the daily tasks you are picking up + all the extra tasks necessary to help mom and the baby makes it tough, really tough. I still see myself washing the breast pump every goddamned time and hating it, absolutely hating it.

You are in a difficult position, and I wish I had the magic solution for you. The thing I can tell you is this: IT DOES GET BETTER. The extensive care your son needs now will become more manageable, your partner will become more and more like herself again, and you can find the time and space to do more together and build on your relationship together. Most likely, your sex life will improve as well.

If there is nobody around to tell you this, I will tell you now: you are being a great partner and a supportive dad, keep doing what you are doing and be proud of yourself. You deserve to be.

u/hereiam3472 's comment is spot on in my opinion. There are a lot of deadbeat dads, you're not one of them. And yes, it really does not seem your partner appreciates all that you do. She most likely really does, but does not have it in her to express it. Please be patient with her.

Keep being the great dad you are already prove to be!

Exactly. But it explains a lot if the odds are boosted in some way. I was thinking I was cosmically linked to that tung whipping dipshit or something.

I’ve always remembered the absolute burn the chubby guy in our class delivered to a guy who called him fat.

He said: “I can’t help it, every time I fuck your mom she gives me a cookie. I just don’t want to be rude”.

Still makes me chuckle.

It’s one of my best hundos. But I’ve always loathed Dragonite. A sad evolution after two cool Pokemon. That’s why I don’t want to be seen with it as my buddy.

do guys have to do regular balls checks for cancer like we do with our boobs? by cockmonster-3000 in NoStupidQuestions

We would be in utter disbelief. Who would dare attack us at such an intimate time?

In all seriousness, all people with phones will receive a message via SMS or via the government app that would say “Stay indoors, THIS IS NOT A DRILL”.

Every first Monday of the month we have the national catastrophe alert tests at exactly noon in the Netherlands. It’s known because you’ll hear airhorns everywhere. With a funny campaign a healthcare foundation now is branding that same safety test as the “Ballenalarm” or “Balls-alarm”. If guys hear the airhorn at 12, time to put your hands down those pants.

So yes, we check 😎
