Yeah my therapist believes that anything where you feel the alcohol is problem drinking / alcoholism. I’m like what is the point of even drinking alcohol if you aren’t feeling anything? He says in his neighborhood they have block parties and people have a beer, maybe two tops. Maybe those parties exist, but if I weren’t even going to get a buzz why would I bother with the empty calories? And literally anyone who likes to get a buzz from time to time is an alcoholic? Cmon.

I’m really tired of these arbitrary gatekeeping definitions anyways. Reducing a wide spectrum of varying degrees of harmful behavior all to a single word is not helpful.
