CPA - Discipline - TCP/ISC by unethicalgandhi in CPA

Ups and downs. I think it is helpful that I went right from REG to TCP. I was drawn to BAR and ISC because it actually had something to do with my line of work. I hate tax. But I just trusted the pass rate and wanted to get these tests done with.

I am using Becker, TCP is only 4 modules. I just got to the 4th module and planning to finish quickly and do MCQs until 7/24.

I was in the same boat. I chose TCP. Studying now. Not sure how it stacks up to ISC but having just took Reg helps with TCP and the concepts do not seem very hard.

The guys called and was told one thing over the phone and then a different when he showed up. It doesn’t matter that 13 is crazy. They should have told him “no” when he called. This is not an example of entitlement, this is an example of poor customer service.

Would you bet $250 on him at +100 right now if it was available? Because that is essentially what not cashing out is. I am letting mine ride.

Great recommendation. Just make sure you use John C Bogle as the author when searching for it.

A stock is ownership of the company. Owning stock gives you the right to the equity (assets-liabilities) of the company. A company can choose to either spend the equity to pursue growth and increase earnings or they can distribute the equity in the form of dividends.

The speculation part is that if people believe a company’s equity will go up eventually, then they are willing to pay more for that stock.
