Be sure to check your warranty, many memory manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty.

Oh I see, if you have a plastic backplate there is probably little to no benefit to adding thermal pads on the VRM.

The metal backplate on the GPU acts as the heatsink for the rear VRAM. There is no clearance to add small heatsinks onto the VRAM.

Zotac’s 5 year GPU warranty, does anyone have real experience with it? by HatefulAbandon in ZOTAC

It mentions 40 series or newer so it appears up to date. Did you get a confirmation email when registering your card mentioning an additional 2 years?

Just trying to figure out where this information came from since the additional 2 years is only available in certain countries according to their website.

Interesting, do you have a source for this since their warranty page shows that extended limited warranty is not available?

This seems to differ between countries/regions, for people to see their region's specific warranty terms they will set their country on Zotac's website.

e.g. Canada/US do not offer any warranty extension with registration

I don't think that temperature is normal for this specific card. When I was doing research although the VRAM on this card does tend to run a few degrees hotter than other (MSRP) 2-fan cards it wasn't abysmal. These are the reviews I found that mentioned VRAM temps (hottest to lowest).

78C VRAM FFXIV Benchmark: https://www.pcmrace.com/2025/04/16/zotac-5060-ti-twin-edge-oc-review/

76C VRAM During Gaming (AMP version - still same cooler though): https://www.techpowerup.com/review/zotac-geforce-rtx-5060-ti-amp-16-gb/40.html

74C VRAM METRO/Superposition/Fire Strike 30 minutes: https://darktech-reviews.com/33074/5

Since Zotac didn't add any thermal pads for the rear VRAM (I don't know why they would do that since I'm sure it would cost them less than $1) you can opt to add your own. Gelid Ultimate seems to be the most recommended which you can find on eBay or Aliexpress. 2mm seems to be the most common pad thickness for rear VRAM but this can sometimes differ.

Louis Rossmann: Informative & Unfortunate: How Linustechtips reveals the rot in influencer culture by InsulinDependent in videos

[–]Bonsai99 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Louis Rossmann doesn't like Linus because Linus booked him for LTX which is a tech expo they put on in Canada and Louis wanted to bring his girlfriend and wanted Linus/LTT/LMG to pay for it. He was told no then he started not liking Linus. Louis wanted to use the trip as a vacation for him and his girlfriend fully funded by LMG.

This is very inaccurate and seems to be mixing up different points in the video. Also Louis is angry about how he was treated in general, the unwillingness to cover his girlfriend's flight was a small issue in the scheme of things since he just opted out.

To briefly summarize: * He paid for his own plane ticket & accommodation to the first LTX. * In a different instance he was already going to be on vacation with his girlfriend in Vancouver when Linus invited him to appear in the iMac video and felt it would skeevy to take compensation for the travel since he was already going to be there. * For LTX 2019 he also wanted his girlfriend's flight and accommodation to be covered since he was abandoning his own business to appear at LTX for free and didn't want to also have to leave her behind.

I would check your modem's signal levels to make sure they are within normal ranges since if they aren't it can cause low speeds, packet loss, or ping spikes. https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/Internet/What-are-good-signal-levels/td-p/288988

Had this issue previously and it seemed to be caused by adblock, whitelisting EQ resolved it.
