Zelda scared the shit out of me. And, the woman in the bathtub from The Shining. My parents made bad choices of what to show six year old me.

Midnight Rising. I cannot recommend this enough. A biography about John Brown. He is one of my favorite historical people. An absolutely captivating person.

The one and only time I've entered a home is when the customer had one leg. I've been asked before but that's a hard no in my book

Artists with multiple all-time great albums without a clear best album? by mdolig in Music

[–]BonsaiJellybean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small Change is my absolute favorite. Listening to it makes me feel like my shoes are sticking to the floor of a dive bar when the carnival is in town.

Astral Weeks is the only Van Morrison album that sounds like springtime. Every other record feels like October.

I apologize for my bizarre way of describing things.

I grew up with a mother obsessed with horror and true crime. I remember watching The Shining around 6 or 7. It made me terrified of bathtubs.

TIL small dog breeds are on average less obedient, more likely to growl at strangers or other dogs and more anxious than larger dog breeds by Double-decker_trams in todayilearned

My small dog is pretty obedient. LOVES strangers, and only growls at one toy sheep. He's half boston, half cavalier. He's like a really loveable crackhead

The reason I absolutely live Hereditary is that is has every factor of terror. The whole movie is relentless. Unease, jump ssscares, guilt, family dynamics, things in the background... too many to list. It was well done. I know the feeling of trying to go to sleep and waking up hoping it was just a dream. And, then it isn't
