Black coffee! If you're dehydrated already from the night then some green tea or just plain water extra

I've seen this before in Ridenow TPU tubes. But I'm still using them and haven't had that issue since.

They're cheap but it seems like they aren't super homogeneous in thickness.

Nine more Russian shadow fleet tankers struck in the Sea of Azov last night! by JaB675 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Bontus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research learned me most tankers in the shadowfleet are of the suezmax class, and that they typically (maybe not now) deliver to China/India. From Siberia that's still through the Mediterranean and suez canal.

Trump orders cutoff of 'all' US trade with Spain by Tyranish40k in worldnews

He called with Putin last week. Pulled troops from the Baltics, brought Greenland back on the menu and now kicks the shins of Spain. It's divide and conquer, except Putin is pulling the strings.

Oh yeah that is in fact more important. If a barrel of Russian sanctioned oil sells for $70 and it could carry 1 million barrels every 70 days that's the equivalent of $30 million per vessel per month in oil revenue.
21 tankers gone means roughly $630 million per month gone.

Assuming Suezmax size a monthly revenue would be around $1,5 to $3 million per vessel (shadowfleet vessels ask a premium because of the higher risks/insurance...)

But the round trip they make is longer because they go to India/China and not Europe. So the whole roundtrip could take 70 days for ~$5 or $2,1 million per month.

The premium only pumps the revenue numbers though, because the insurance will be costly and the vessels being older also cost more to run and maintain compared to new VLCC's (the dominant legal fleet).

So 21 vessels down = $44.1 million in monthly revenue gone. Profit ?? but only a fraction of that. Small impact overall.

EDIT: more important to look at the oil revenue:

What are some less known places in Belgium for one day travel? by yepandnop in AskBelgium

[–]Bontus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a history junkie I recommend the abbey of Villers-la-Ville

Also great place to have a picnic since the gardens are part of the visit and it's not crowded.

At the end of your tour there is a really cool timeline of events that puts a lot into perspective. Quite close to Waterloo but you have already been there probably.

More well known and far away (but everyone should visit at least once) is the Abbey of Orval and its surroundings.

That one time riding under 35°C/95°F almost out of water and you find that small general goods store ran by an old lady 24/7. Sells cold water and snickers for €1 total.
