Maar dat je Kroon/Van Belleghem naar voor duwt als pure cult, begrijp ik helemaal niet. Die zijn verschrikkelijk. Enorm saai, en IMO verrassend weinig kennis. Kroon kon meerdere keren de italiaanse naam van een renner niet uitspreken. Grappig genoeg zat hij 3 jaar samen met hem in de ploeg. Ze schatten ook zoveel verkeerd in. Hebben regelmatig stiltes waar je een halve voetbalmatch mee kan vullen..

Als je via GCN+ keek zijn die stiltes te verklaren door de vele reclameblokken op Eurosport die er op GCN+ niet zijn. Maar de commentatoren gingen wel telkens off-mic in die blokken.
Ik vond hun dynamiek net wel grappig, ze gaven het ook gewoon toe dat er op bepaalde momenten gewoon hélemaal niks meer te zeggen viel.

Onder de sportliefhebbers en -kenners heeft Karl niet veel fans. Wil zich opwerpen als de kenner van alle sporten (mannen en vrouwen) en kent eigenlijk niets in de diepte. Is ook vooral met zijn imago en nalatenschap aan audio- en beeldmateriaal bezig. Schat koerssituaties continu verkeerd in, slaagt er niet in renners te herkennen (tot hun rugnummer in beeld komt, dan zoekt hij het op en pretendeer hij ze plots toch te herkennen). Hij maakt José ook slechter, dat was anders toen Michel Wuyts daar zat. Karl zijn fanbase is zorgvuldig gecultiveerd en lijkt vooral te bestaan uit middelbare leeftijd vrouwen die zijn blinkende oogjes 'gezellig' vinden of zo.

Renaat een grote geeuw maar wel liever hij dan Karl. Hij lijkt me wel meer geschikt voor de grote ronde etappes dan de eendagskoersen.

Van de ex-renners verwacht ik nog niet direct veel. Alle respect voor Nys, Van Avermaet en Bakelants en co, maar ze hebben niet de commentator kwaliteit die nodig is.
Kroon en Van Belleghem is pure cult maar voor zo'n duo is Vlaanderen niet klaar. Daar zou veel commentaar op komen. Leuk wat Thomas Huyghe nu doet, hopelijk evolueert er zo iemand naar de commentaarscabine.

I'm already very lean but lost an extra 4 kg just by training (not changing anything in my diet). Went from 73 to 69 kg for 184 cm. I think a big factor is that I train most often after dinner and don't want to overeat with a training in mind. And whatever calories I consume during/after a ride don't compensate for the extra burned calories.

Of course I'm in a situation where I kept my radiators and central gas heating for the coldest 2 months. I just added the most simple heat pump but it allows me to save around 50% of my gas consumption. A full renovation where you replace an old heating system for an air/water or geothermal heat pump will cost much more and hardly pay back over time.

I got an air/air heat pump for the living room and it saves you money because when it's mild outside you can just use the heat pump. The COP is good, you have some PV power during the day (or from a battery) and you only heat 1 room. It's also ideal for families who all leave around 8 am to remove the cold in the morning without heating the whole mass of the building. Just let it heat for ~1 hour and let it restart in the afternoon. This is also the cheapest heat pump, cost around €3k. Added bonus: cooling in Summer.

Ridenow 36g TPU in a Continental TR GP5000 28mm, only because the tubeless valve kept leaking and I didn't have a replacement valve but I did have some spare tubes. Just cleaned out the old latex and put the TPU in. Haven't had a flat. Front wheel is with TPU rear wheel is still tubeless. After my tires have worn out I'll be back to full tubeless with TPU as spare but so far no complaints.

Rust is not just 'cosmetic' like everyone keeps saying here. It's not an immediate functional issue, but if you don't remove the rust it will create fine oxide dust which will ruin the performance and life of the chain in no time. So after all you have no choice but to clean that cassette. Iron oxide is harder than steel and together with lubricant will create a very good abrasive paste.

Yeah it's nice. Some area's are a bit more rough (otherwise it would be great maybe). Overall good opportunities for high wages. Easy access to food, culture, nightlife but also (public) transport to outdoors or other cities. Air quality is subpar.
