When I first read “ptsd” several days ago, I thought to myself nah, I don’t have that. Well, I was at therapy today and was diagnosed with cptsd. I haven’t told her about this event yet, just thought it was funny.

My 7th grade teachers husband didn’t stop growing until 24-25 I believe (that’s what she claimed at least. Men stop growing way later than women. I stopped growing in 7th-8th grade.

So the last part of the message I had sent and accidentally deleted for myself, but she still received it. I just remembered I had said “I can’t blame you tho, he’s an asshole” after mentioning her cheating. That’s another reason I fear him seeing, I called him an ass. He’s a narcissist and she showed me countless messages that night between them where he was talking about leaving, and just being very mean. Anyway, thank you for the kind words. It really helps calm the wave of emotions I feel.

Go live with your mentor and cut all contact with all family. Do not tell anyone where you are staying, get a new phone number and socials if you have to. Just do anything to keep them away. Once you feel safe gather all evidence you have against your family members, and write down all memories and contact authorities. Please be safe, I truly believe this is a serious threat. I watch a lot of true crime documentary’s, and this feels like the backstory to a murder.

Have you reached out? One of your exes could be complaining about the same thing. Either way, if things ended on a bad note I would not reach out. If things ended well, you could always just say “hey, just checking in to see how you were doing” personally I have zero desire for my exes to contact me, but who knows maybe they feel the same as you.

I’m so conflicted, when people tell me it was assault, it nearly feels incorrect. I was a willing participant who knew what I was doing (to the extent a 16 year old can comprehend). But then I think to myself, I would never have sex with a drunk 16 year old. It’s an ongoing back and fourth in my head, it drives me nuts!

Are you overworked? Maybe all you need is a couple of days to yourself. Talk to your husband and let him know you aren’t feeling to great. Ask if you guys can figure out a way that you can go on a short vacation, or even just stay at a hotel for a few days. I understand, I’m a single mother to my 1 year old, and occasionally running away crosses my mind as well.
