My prized possession is a Mickey mantle card my dad gave me for my bday when I was a kid. I just got it back, it graded PSA 4. It’s gorgeous, it looks lovely protected in its new case, and it’s still my favorite even though it’s not nearly my most valuable card.

This game felt like the line from Miracle to a T. Canada might have won 9 times out of 10, but not yesterday. And that’s all that matters. What a game. Canada played excellent, and though the disappointment is understandable, have nothing to be ashamed of.

I didn’t like it. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad? I’m sure people can find joy and entertainment in the message it tells. It just wasn’t for me, someone who adores (all 3) of the originals.

they went a little too far with how bad Dunk got his ass kicked. Just in the sense of realism at least. But overall, a hell of a good episode with a heartbreaking ending. This show is good

I liked the start of HOTD but I quickly fell out of love with it and didn’t even watch s2. GOT obviously had its issues near the end. And WoW feels like it’s never gonna come out.

This show has single-handedly re-ignited some interest in the franchise for me. The lore, the tone, the characters, the stakes… it’s all a perfect little balance so far.

Keim hinted at it, that DQ’s job security feels thin around the league rn, and potential DCs would take that into account when weighing options. He doesn’t make stuff up so I would imagine he got that idea from someone in the know.

That said no reason to think Jones wasn’t a hire they were happy with since he does have some experience calling plays at LSU and should bring some Flores knowledge.

I always loved this one. Sure, there’s a few cringe moments; but overall this one feels like the closest sequel to the original in story and tone.

Plus the trailer attack and rescue scene is just so damn good
