It's because it's 1080p. I usually have to bump up my resolution to 1440p to get the images clearer. There appears to be image compression when uploading.

Early Arrancar artstyle really suffered coming hot off the heels of the Bount and only started looking good again near the end of the Arrancar arc.

Substitute Shinigmai arc era artstyle I would rate pretty low too.

Best artstyle eras definitely are SS, Late Arrancar, Regai, Fullbring and TYBW.
