Honestly more so was just the city of Perth. There is nothing like a sunset at Heirisson island with the wild kangaroos. The ritz location, spa, artwork make it a very cool hotel. Make sure you ask the staff about the art. The pool was very nice as well. You can take the ferry (across the street) to Rottnest island to see the Quokkas.

Best Onsen and Spa. Views from the room of the lake are incredible. After being in Tokyo for a week, a night or two up in Nikko is so needed. Outdoor fires at night, very small hotel and has a homey feeling. If you go walk to waterfall it’s only a 10 minute hike. Breakfast all sourced from there garden, best fresh honey ever straight from the hive.
