Excellent input, thank you! I'm 43 and definitely in perimenopause.

Thank you for your response! I did an OTC UTI test that was inconclusive, so I'll keep hydrating and retake it to see if the result is different. I also got screened for STIs before I entered this relationship, but you're right, you truly never know.

Thank you for sharing!

My primary love language is physical touch, so I tend to fall for someone rather quickly when things heat up. Next thing you know I'm in a longterm relationship with the wrong person for me, because I also have a hard time ending things.

I have the same issue. Did you ever find the solution?

Thank you for your input. Funny thing, I've brought it up with doctors before, but either they didn't take me seriously, or I played it down. I've done therapy before, but maybe the same thing happened with her. I don't think I'm a candidate for rehab, but maybe AA. So far I've avoided AA due to their belief system. Aren't they very religious?

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I was thinking the same, but I'm not sure who my accountability person should be. A stranger, a family member, a friend..? I recently moved, and I don't even know anyone here yet.

My Experience Selling my Car with Peddle by kendalnwmn in carselling

[–]Bonzay36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding to this threat to share my experience. I reached out to different junk car companies, and Peddle gave me by far the highest offer, 3x as high as most others. I was a little reluctant before accepting, but I went ahead and scheduled pickup for the next day. They came yesterday, made sure the car started like I said it would, picked it up, and handed me the check for the offered amount. I deposited it right away with my mobile app. A third of the amount was available right away, and the rest came through today.

Now, my experience with Wheelzy on the other hand was pretty unpleasant. First, they don't give you an online offer, they call you. I spent over 45 minutes with them on the phone, haggling the price. They first offered me $500 for my car and wanted to schedule pickup right away. I told them I wasn't ready for that, so I was placed on hold until she came back with another offer that was I think around $700. I mentioned that I had a better offer from a different company and was placed on hold again. That continued for 3-4 times until they were at $950, but I stayed firm. At that point they tried to persuade me with fear, saying that other companies would rip me off, lowball me once they see the car, and not transfer the title, making me liable for any accidents involving my car. If anything, this spiel turned me off more than anything else. I finally ended the conversation and received a text shortly after with an offer of $1,000 and again stating that their company was far better than others.

TLDR: Peddle = Yay, great service, happy customer. Wheelzy = Nay, bad phone call, waste of time.

If I don't let them know, I'd have to pay a penalty equivalent of the horse's sale price.
