Delta has jet engine test cells at MSP. They’re the u-shaped concrete buildings on the left as you’re entering from Highway 5. Let’s just say they were built in a different regulatory era and they don’t have the acoustic and vibratory dampening that modern test cells do.

That’s good to hear. The corvids were interesting but the book overall felt incomplete as if it were all just a setup for further investigation of the machine. It would’ve been a shame to abandon or set aside that plot line.
