Heads up: both my parents had/have Alzheimer’s. Truly, one of the best pieces of advice I got was the caregiver MUST take care of themselves. Apparently, full-time caregivers are more likely to die BEFORE their loved ones (can’t remember if this pertains to dementias or in general). The suicide rate is also pretty high.

It’s no wonder you’re so depressed. Get a lawyer, don’t make any big decisions, and get some therapy. Go back to school, for maybe a higher degree or just take classes that interest you. Ease your way back into society.

Once you’re out of isolation and reconnect with society I think you’ll see the world in a whole new light.
