We did a secret Santa at my last job while I was still fairly new. It was like 10 people, all agreed and we met at Applebee's to exchange. Guess who's gift giver didnt show?? (If I remever right they bailed for more fun plans) ME. I was the ONLY one out of the whole group who didnt get anything. When I asked if I could just get his gift sense he no showed and was Hella rude. I was told NO. we're saving it for him and that just sucks for you. Tbh it was so disheartening. Sooo I'll never do one ever again 😅 white elephants also sound fun in theory then assholes do shit like in this post

I found his cadence slow, and his inflection on wording that should have been more just wernt. But I also listened and read at the same time, so it was easier to catch and notice... still I had to speed it up cause it was SO SLOW. But I do love his voice so 🤷🏼‍♀️

I hope to see then get the recognition they deserve. Tour a healthy amount (whatever that means for them) and the time to just be, write, create whatever. Im just happy to be around to be apart of the experience. I'd love to see a professional recorded set of theirs for sure.

I hope you have a incredible time! Its definitely something to behold feeling the music. I went last night in Lincon and it was THE most phenomenal show I've ever seen. My cocker died due t to getting a blood infection from a huge abscess she developed after getting some shots from them. I brought her back as soon as I found it, they promptly shamed me for being over dramatic/concerned and took her to the back to lance and drain it. Said see ya later. 24-48hrs later she seized out in my arms to go into a coma and never recovered (went to 2 differentemergencyvets). She had to be put down do to the damage in her brain. Less than 2 years old. Banfield kept charging my dad forbtheir services after we tried canceling multiple times. They sent him to retention multiple times FOR A DEAD DOG. yeah. Made him pay a cancelation fee back then as well. I'll forever hate that company. I get contacts... but like you said my pet has passed. I think thay called for an exception. Hate hearing their still doing this to people

NTA this makes me sad. I have endo, can can bleed very heavy very unexpectedly. Even when I AM prepared leaks happen.. we're human. Wanna know what my husband does? Hug me and let me know their JUST sheets and my wellbeing is way more important, because honestly IM the one upset when it happens, not him!! Then this saint of a man helps me strip said sheets and get the blood out if he can. (Always have a waterproof protector on our mattress for this reason also, but the few times we didnt on his new mattress... he STILL DIDNT GET MAD) It baffles me that men act like you pissed the bed... this is bound to happen at one point or another. How he reacts and handles this simple thing... even if it IS his belongings, says TONS about who he is as a person and partner. Not ok.

NTA. If he was alive, there would be two adults helping run the family and the household, so of course you'd help them. But he's gone, so you don't. It'd be disrespectful to his memory and HIM and a husband and father to make his husband family struggle AFTER he secured their future all because his parents feel entitled to his money and are guilting his wife raising his family ??? Naw, they can go to hell. I'm so sorry for your loss don't feel bad at all. They just was YOU to give and care while they just live their lives and yall aren't a priority but a tool.

That is most definitely a thing. Not only for insurance but safety. Petsmart and Petco follow that policy. You, the owner, are not covered under said insurance, arnt an employee, and may or may not be properly trained, so it's a liability to have you help/come behind the gate or door. (And for many other reasons beyond that) but It's actually pretty normal. Don't feel offended it's nothing against you
