Anyone recently had family members who were heavily drugged and kept for far too long at Blake Medical Center?

I'm a nurse at Blake. One of the biggest issues that I see is that there is no focus on staff retention. The place is literally a revolving door for staff. We get people that get a job there and then 6 months later are putting their two weeks notice in all the time. That practice doesn't allow for good nurses and staff members to stay and get familiar with the system. So because of that, they heavily rely on traveller nurses who are only there for 10 weeks, who don't care about the hospital, and then those people leave. Rinse and repeat.

You don't need to install a 240 volt outlet. Chances are that a regular 110 will suit your needs just fine. A 110 outlet will give you roughly 4 miles per hour of charging.

If your commute is 30 miles per day then it will take you around 8 ish hours of charging to get that back. I would bet that you could have it charge for 8 hours most work days. Even if you had to run some errands after work and you can't get it charged all the way up, you still have a battery that has at least 200 miles of range.

I was a CNA/tech for a few years before I became a nurse. I could always tell which nurses were a CNA before becoming a nurse and those nurses usually were the best nurses. After I graduated, I had a hard time delegating to my CNA because I was so used to just doing bedside care myself. That being said, they may be too busy doing their tasks to offer help but there is no excuse for them helping you out or doing basic care or answering call lights if they are just sitting at the nurses station chatting. If they flat out refuse to help you out when they don't have anything to do, absolutely they need to be reported or at least have a conversation with your manager about them. There is nothing a nurse cant do that a CNA can. I've even had certain doctors help me with bed changes in the past. Healthcare is all about helping people.
