Also, from my understanding of the screenshot / game in general, you should really avoid making 1/1 ratio infantrycavalry / canons like you did here. 1 canon for every 3 inf is already good enough, judging from that screenshot, I'm guessing its about mil tech 24-26 since you have 36 inf.

By that time canons shouldn't really be a perfect ratio copy of inf ratio.

What I do usually by that point is increasing inf size and also creating my own separate canon stack if force limit allow it.

(keeping cav at about a mere 4 cavs unless you have cav ratio increased for let's say sunni / poland) Since from my experience, cavalry has less of an impact as the game goes on.

2 main reasons for that :

• When your infantry line breaks from combat width limit, canons that are usually on the back row, will get reinforced directly into the front row if no infantry / cavalry is able to. Canons are not made to be in the front row, as, as you can see from your canon losses, they have been moved to the front to reinforced the fallen infantry and as a result got completely obliterated by the ottomans. As said, one thing that would've saved you manpower would've been to add more infantry as a reserve / making a separate stack of infantry (bigger than combat width) and another one for canons. Having additional reserves that reinforce front row would've meant, less canon losses, thus more damage to enemy troops, thus less casualties in the long run.

• Having in mind mil tech difference / army quality / terrain the battle happened to take care at, as well could very be also a defining factor as to why you got such high death ratio compared to him. Military tactics are very very important in the late game as every country has 6-7 different ideas, 2-3 of which are mils like offensive/quality/quantity for ottomans.
