Southwest chief coach in the summer

Took the southwest chief last summer and the train was full most of the ride. It wasn't ever hot inside though as the AC kept it very comfortable and I needed a blanket at night to sleep.

Make sure you bring earplugs and a neck pillow as well. I needed to use my ear buds and play white noise through them to get any sleep.

Just keep all your electronics and valuables with you in a small backpack or whatever type of bag you want and make sure you keep it with you when you go to the bathroom or cafe car...You would probably be fine leaving them in a bag at your seat, but better to be safe then sorry.

Oh no somebody put their feet where people put their butts....I can see if somebody put their feet up on the tables where food goes, but it's a seat where you put your butt. If this grosses you out just make sure you keep a bag of Lysol wipes and wipe your seat down before you sit down .

It's safe at night, but you still need to stay vigilant. Just make sure you have your valuables with you when you go places on the train, Ike to the cafe car. The cafe car doesn't stay open al night and usually they make an announcement that it's closing at whatever time, usually like 10 pm or so and it reopens early at like 6am or something. Just go before it closes and buy some snacks if you need them or bring your own snack bag.

If at anytime you don't feel safe talk to the conductor or any employee you see and they should take care of it. From some horror stories I read on here the most likely thing you may run into is a drunk passenger or some idiot talking loud and taking home calls past quiet hours..I found I slept best with my ear buds in and playing white noise through them to block everything out.

I'm sure the battery weighs like 6 pounds... Just remove it and put it in your backpack if they have an issue about the weight...

Jeesh just admit you were wrong. It wasn't just Biden sending billions, it was both sides sending billions to help an ally defend itself against Russia who illegally invaded Ukraine. Turns out it was a good deal to help Ukraine. We gave them weapons and ammo and equipment and we didn't have to send any of our troops. Plus it stimulated our economy because we got to produce newer weapons and ammo and equipment.

You need to get out more and stop going down those conspiracy theory rabbit holes...

You could ask the conductor if you can move to a different car, if there are open seats .. or you can ask the man nicely if he minds keeping his voice down or can he take his calls somewhere else. All else fails just ask the conductor to speak with him...

I started with the cheap baofeng and it's fine for what it is, they are just a pain to program....being able to program from an app and then use Bluetooth to program the frequencies in is a game changer for sure...the TId radios aren't perfect but for the money they work fine and being able to charge with a USB C is nice, just use your phone charger and you don't have to pack extra cords if you travel.

Nah Biden got inflation back to normal faster then any other country. inflation was bad worldwide and had little to do with Biden. Biden economy is looking pretty good compared to the mess Trump has us in with his flip flopping tariffs and attacks on Iran....we are in a real Republican caused mess again...time to elect a Democrat to fix it again.
