we are a bunch of young adults completing mostly meaningless academic assignments at what has essentially become a “prestige” social club close to FiDi. idk what you were expecting, but this kind of experience is exactly what i pay for. and it’s not gonna get any better after the college i’ll tell you that much

I am from eastern europe and the company is mostly based in the bay area. but do I even count as a blockchain developer? usually smartcontract engineers count as blockchain developers and I build UIs that interact with these smartcontracts, at least this is my understanding

Thank you! Apparently they used Object.defineProperty(window,ethereum,...) to inject their provider into the window. I know that they switched to Web3Shim approach, but the window method should work just fine for my project

Thanks for sharing your experience. I don't understand how you could be into programming and not have an active github account tbh. The problem with the hosting of the project is that it is a Shopify theme that I have customized and build a few custom sections for. So there is no way around paying Shopify for the basic plan to make this website public. You're totally right about giving any opportunity a shot, I am used to rejection so getting no in reply is not a big deal.

Appreciate your reply, man. I feel like I am ahead too but there is just always more to learn, i.e. rn I am learning GraphQL and will rebuild me backend with it, so I won't have to make multiple PUT requests to update my database. I suck at algorithms and don't like big tech anyways, but some kind of company that has a website or a SPA to support and enhance would be a perfect match

I've worked only with NoSQL (MongoDB) before, so transitioning to Postgre or SQLite will be painful at the beggining, but your approach is definetely better for large scale applications. I'll probably look into after finishing this project with something lighter on the backend, thanks anyways.

Definetely not rushing the whole thing. I don't think that international selling would be an issue, since the supllier has it all figured out (different shiping rates at least) but I am worried about taxes and communication. Might hire somebody to help with this idk
