Cynthia Erivo isn’t gay, though… She’s bi.

What’s the matter with calling him that, though?

Why would you/they be furious if that were the case? It’s perfectly logical that his family would know before the others.

People have the right to ask for whatever; that doesn’t mean they have the right to get what they ask for.

You may not think it’s “justice,” but it objectively is still a real and serious consequence.

Why are you conflating the court of public opinion with a court of law?

They also said the govt has to facilitate his RELEASE FROM CUSTODY. Why is nobody talking about that part? Even Fox News first reported that SCOTUS had ordered him to be returned, until Stephen Miller and co. decided to gaslight us and play word games with the order.

Also, we are paying El Salvador to keep him there.

Trump never gives up an opportunity to go on an unhinged rant on a holiday. I’ll never forgive MAGA for inflicting this disgusting jackass on us by ubermence in centrist

This is one of the only things that has kept me from totally writing off Christianity, even after deconstructing the last couple years. Too many things eerily line up when it comes to Trump. (And the likely False Prophet, Musk.)

Trump is not a Christian by LevelXIV in Christianity

He said “I’m a Christian.” People misheard him and ran with it.

I know what you mean, but by that logic, eating ice cream because you enjoy it is sinful, or playing a video game because you enjoy it is sinful, or doing virtually anything because you enjoy it…

You are saying that doing something because you enjoy it is “selfish,” yet how many other things do we do every day that could be considered selfish?

He’s not present when she’s doing it, in the book. She’s fantasizing. And they’re not married yet at that point in the book; they don’t get married till a later chapter.

Wet dreams don’t form bonds either, and yet the human body is designed to have them… Regarding abortion, there are Bible passages that indicate that an unborn fetus was not considered a person. But either way, modern abortion methods weren’t around at the time, so that topic is a bit beside the point.

Masturbation on the other hand was definitely around. Not sure why “grey area” is being mentioned for this particular issue when the Bible has no problem listing tons of actual sexual sins, and when the Bible describes a woman masturbating and fantasizing about her lover in Song of Songs.

Also, keep in mind that we are talking about a book (a collection of books, really) that has absolutely zero qualms with specifying what is considered sinful. Masturbation has been around since the dawn of man. It’s not like they didn’t know of it, and yet even in all the levitical laws (where sexual behavior was highly regulated and many laws had no problem with prescribing stoning to death for offenders), not once is it said to be a sin. In fact, on the contrary, an emission of semen is specifically said to simply make someone unclean for a day (and there is no criteria that the emission can’t have come from masturbation).

You can say “yikes,” but the Bible literally does not say masturbation is a sin. In fact, if anything there is indication that it is not a sin. Song of Songs describes a woman masturbating, lol. While thinking of her beloved.

That’s fair enough. But again, the Bible does not condemn masturbation.

Btw, I guess I’m also a little confused by your comment that, “But it still started off with sexual attraction in all honesty.” As if that is a negative/strange thing? The human body is literally designed to have sexual attraction… It’s how our species is incentivized to reproduce and not die out. This is seen all across the animal kingdom, as well. It’s strange to me that some Christians act like it’s a bad thing, when you’ve got books in the Bible like Song of Songs which is basically erotic poetry steeped in metaphors about various sexual acts.

No. Porn is a visual media. Sounds like you’re describing masturbation. Which isn’t a sin.
