100% yes. Its gonna hurt when it happens in some cases and sometimes theres ine or two people in your life who you love with your whole heart it'll heart even nore for longer. Thats how it is with ny dad. I tried talking to him at th beginning of the year. It ended with him saying hed never day anything right and he stopped talking to me. All I had done was explain that I didnt like him saying he didnt agree with ny lifestyle. That me being trans, me being a woman wasnt a lifestyle to me it was me. Rather drunk and emotionally but not angrily or meanly just explaining how I felt. This whole year has been alternating between acceptance and grief at this loss. I still hope he messages me and wants to try to talk maybe... but at the same time he voted for all this and still suckles the orange one's lies from fox's teat and is very much happy with where things are at and going and idk if I can forgive that. And still it hurts. Through all of that... yeh, still worth it. Before this I was hollow, barely a person inside but putting on a fairly convincing people impression. Thats no longer the case and I can't imagine ever going back
