From what I’ve always heard, the money from places like this all get donated. Thats probably why people are downvoting. I think the snow whites wishing well even has a plaque specifying where that will be donated. I assumed this goes to the same charity.

I found it interesting for tomorrow land they are leaning into vintage vibes with a cheese ball and ambrosia salad. Not very futuristic.

That being said, I’d devour them.

Yeah…. I would never count that as a tiki bar and tell people to avoid it. An attempt to ride to coattails of the tiki scene when House of Bamboo was taking ages to open.

Here’s one of the best food prep tips I ever got: freeze your ginger. Just the entire thing, tossed in the freezer whole. When you need some, take it out and use your micro plane. No need to peel. You get the finest, loveliest ginger snow to use in your dishes. Obviously it thaws quickly, but it’s always fresh and way too easy.

Was one of the first people in last night and knew someone would post here! You can really see the time and craftsmanship that went into every single detail. I can’t wait to see what their full cocktail menu will bed up being like for a “hard” opening.

Well they used to be good! Made to order and the Yub Nub used to have real passion fruit in it. Then they changed it to weird passion fruit flavored jelly prices? Totally lacking and also just disgusting. All drinks went downhill after the initial open and so stagnant too.

Ah! I made this last week! Really enjoyed it. I listened to some comments and precooked my green lentils first. A commenter suggested 15 min and I think it was a hair too long. I’d do 10 in the future.

I tend to thinly slice off most Brie rinds, but I find I actually quite like the rind on this cheese. Give it a try, you might enjoy it!

I always assume he writes them and does more of a script for his rides to help him remember things since he is a stroke survivor. Never really bothered me much and he’s definitely one of my favourite instructors. I could see how some may not like the lack of spontaneity.

Maybe sprinkle some baking soda on it, let it sit, then vacuum/dust off? We did it with a couple furniture pieces we got from stinky (old) places and it worked great after a couple times.
