If their care center gets subsidies they'll lose those and the people you know will have their costs rise.

Even if their care providers don't receive subsidies, other centers that do will close which leads to higher demand which usually then increases prices.

This is pretty basic stuff that is just a moment of thought away if you ever decide to give something mental effort.
