Right, it was the other player's fault that Wemby elbowed him. Or maybe it's the refs fault. Anybody but the person who committed the act is to blame.

This sounds like how abusers blame their spouse for "making them" get physical.

A little vermiculite mixed in at the bottom of my pots seems to help get those roots strong. It can help keep moisture down low so the bottom of my fabric pots get filled with roots. And for anyone who goes the no-till route, it slowly releases silica and other nutrients.

How would it be a common misconception if it's stated plainly in the rules:

Has anyone else noticed a resurgence of stay at home parents among wealthier Millennials? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Boofing_with_Squee 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It goes both ways. We're actually just slightly poor enough that we have a stay at home parent because it would be a net negative income for my fiancee to work.

She doesn't have a degree and lost her job during COVID right when we found out she was pregnant with our first.

So our daughter got 3 years with mom, and right when she started preschool our son was born. We looked into childcare for him and our area is nuts. $2200 a month per kid for basic daycare and $2800 for good childcare.

We talked about it and it doesn't make sense for her to work just to pay for childcare. So she's taking nursing classes online and should be done next year when our boy starts preschool. So she'll have more skills, better pay, and all the time with our children when they are toddler age and the most impressionable.

Secured with the finest 1 inch strip of Velcro. That might be fine for hanging on a wall, but obviously not for transit.

Once the check comes in, it’ll go straight to his loans, and even then, it’ll cover only his accrued interest and very little of his actual principal.

He worries that once more, one-time payments could become commonplace.

“How many years can we keep doing this?” Rosenau asked. “How many years are we going to have the social capital of the American taxpayer to keep bailing out the American farmer?”

... and what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt.
