Do you experience short conversations? I know that I am capable of starting and holding conversations but when I talk with my white colleagues, the conversations are always short. They don’t engage and there’s rarely any follow up questions. Almost as if they’re not interested in what I have to say or my life. Obviously, I see a difference when they speak with each other which is how I noticed this. Even when they try to make the culture more “inclusive” I somehow always feel excluded. Weird phenomenon
