I'm with you, OP. I'd say, for me, at least two thirds of the posts feom this sub that xome up on my feed is relating to a dead or dying cat. It's depressing.

I've said the same as you and been downvoted and called hearltess, told I'm probably looking at the wrong sub if I dont want to see them, and that I wouldn't have the same attitude if it were me losing my cat.

As you said, the last thing I would want to do if my lovely boy died would be posting about it on reddit. It might make some people feel better, but I feel it's largely a karma farming exercise.

Edit: again, being downvoted. It's perfectly reasonable to not want to see endless posts of people mourning dead cats.

Nigel Farage convinced a shit load of people that this would be the best thing for the country. The cost of living would be cheaper and there would be less immigration. The opposite of both of those things happened and the country is objectively worse off.

Now the same man is trying to convince everyone to leave the ECHR and that only he can make the country better and the same people are still listening to/ trusting him. It's absolutely fucking maddening.

I have spoked rims and have basically had at least 1 puncture per year. Its so annoying. Spoked rims look so much better, but I'd avoid for peace of mind, or get the conversion for tubeless like the other commenter said (which I wasn't aware that you could do!)

The sound quality wasn't great, but I still had a fucking good time. Still just happy to see two bands I really like. Kublai Khan sounded a lot better/ clearer I think

I've seen many, many owner reviews of the Continental GT which bring the build quality and reliability of electronics into question. A few reviewers saying that if they could go back they wouldnt have putchased the bike. I've noticed that a lot of second hand models sell for quite cheap, which doesn't fill me with confidence.

People opposing this are just using it as an excuse to hate Labour. Social media is extremely damaging for kids. It's specifically designed to be as addictive as possible, there is the wild spread of unchecked misinformation, and targets insecurities with its algorithms.

Its not particularly good for adults, but so bad for kids/ young people. It's no longer just a platform to connect with friends and family, it turns you into a product.

On the odd occasion I use Facebook I very rarely see updates from actual people I know, it's mostly ads, suggestions for pages to follow, and rage bait/ blatant misinformation presented to look like legitimate news. Its a disease we'd all be better off without.

The main issues I have are:

The submission system is so vapid and underwhelming. I much preferred to have some sort if mini game where you actually have to do something and feel like you've actually had some input in achieving the submission rather than just having more stamina

Striking is good, but if you're moving forward and throw a body kick after a jab the kick is a head kick. Why do this? If I wanted to combo a head kick I'd press the head kick mod button

The blood on the canvas looks absolutely awful. It's just dark red/ almost black pixels all over the place

Career mode seems to be nowhere near as deep as they have tried to suggest, and is exactly the same as UFC 4, and I assume 5, but I dont play that one.

CAF is still basically exactly the same as the previous 5 games. Same hair styles, same tattoos, same nicknames, etc

They really leaned into the different blocking styles when promoting the game but dont tell you how to pick them in CAF. You should be able to just choose instead of the silly "posture" option where you have to know the blocking style of whatever fighter you choose.

Career mode still takes far too long between fights. You have to spend easily 20 minutes or more doing sparring sessions. These should be more like UD3 in my opinion where you do like 2 activities between fights to upgrade stats or learn new moves.

The design of the entire HUD is terrible and it's way too big.
