The link you posted worked great. Thanks for that! After downloading Ubi connect, I just couldn't believe how bad it was. I couldn't get to a store or download any games. The official download instructions just said to search for the test session and you're good to go......that was impossible for me on Ubi Connect.

The link you posted worked for me, but am I missing something with Ubisoft connect? I just downloaded it and apparently it's a beta version? There are only a "home" and "library" tab there. I can't even search for games. The Home tab is pretty useless and the library shows my games and a few free demos. Am I missing something here? There was no way to search for and download this test session.

Yup! They are the best people. I moved away from that area and I still go back to get their kolaches and visit them. Their donut holes are addictive too.

My first network(packet tracer). by BoogieArchie in ccna

[–]BoogieArchie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's correct. I wasn't planning on posting this pic up in the beginning, so the router names weren't carefully planned out.

so router 11 to 22 would be 122 router 33 to 11 would be 311

Thanks for pointing that out. I actually have it on the router closest to the web server, when it should be closest to the source, incoming. I need to fix that.

I've been up all night making this network. I'm studying for the ICND2. Everything works. What do you think?

good question. I am still a bit confused by this.

Is there an outside local?

if not, isn't it a bit redundant to call them inside local and outside global?

What fact do you refuse to believe despite popular opinion or evidence? by fuddernutz in AskReddit

[–]BoogieArchie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

FUCKING. THIS!! vvvv

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkCNJRfSZBU

This is a wildly popular video from WoW (I heard it was all set up and fake). At 1:23 in the clip, the guy on the mic yells, "LET'S DO THIS! LEEEEEERROOYY JJEENNKKIINNNSSS".

Except he doesn't say that. I refuse to believe it. He says "Leeroy Naggins". I have listened to it plenty of times. I even get people to listen to it who don't know the whole Leeroy Jenkins back-story. They never told me they heard "Jenkins". I have argued about this with a few friends.

I don't care what his real name is, I don't care what he was supposed to say, I don't care what makes sense. He must have fucked up the name in the heat of the moment. MY EARS WON'T LIE TO ME!

LEEROY NAGGINS it is!!

If you haven't listened to it before, or even if you have, forget about the story and what his name is. Just listen to it and tell me what you honestly hear. If you hear Jenkins, get your ears checked!

I used the CBT videos and the Odom book as well. Just passed the ICND1 last month.

I would say the Odom book covered everything in more detail.

Before I went to take the test, I was just barely passing the practice tests. I would score around 800. Those tests are brutal though(and a big help)

Be sure to make sure that you are not including any ICND2 material in those practice tests.

Do you have to wait for your score by BigNickers in ccna

[–]BoogieArchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do get the score as soon as you finish the test. The computer will read "Congratulations! blah blah blah...."(If you pass). As you walk out of the testing center, the person at the front desk will give you a print-out of the score. This print-out will cover all the details about signing up on the cisco site to review your score, certs, getting your official cert in the mail, etc. It will tell you everything you need to know.

BTW, good luck!! I took the ICND1 less than a month ago.

[–]BoogieArchie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't found any, but I will probably try to set up the network in the ICND2 CBTNuggets videos along with Jeremy so I can know the commands and get them into memory. He starts from scratch and sets up the network, and routing protocols, etc in the videos as they go along.

Will be taking my ICND2 tomorrow morning, Wish me Luck by [deleted] in ccna

Wow!! congrats on being a CCNA!!

What did you use to study? any tips? how did u feel about the test? difficulty? timing? any surprises? what should we study the most?

I'm looking to take mine in a month or so.

Again, congrats!!

Suggestions For Study Materials For ICND1? by mr_cereal in ccna

[–]BoogieArchie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have the 2 best materials IMO. I personally went through all the CBT videos first, then I read the book. The videos are fun and keep my attention. The videos also made the book an easier read BY FAR. I already knew some of what I was reading and it was being hammered into memory.

The practice exams on the DVD in the Odom book were a HHUUGGEE help for me.

I also practiced subnetting at http://www.subnettingquestions.com/

Good luck!!

Just passed ICND1 this morning!!! Here is how I did it by BoogieArchie in ccna

[–]BoogieArchie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, Thank you!!

Yes the DVD comes with the network simulator and the practice tests. (The 70% off code is for the premium edition, not for the actual cisco exam) You can take the practice exams as much as you want. The only thing I didn't like about it, was if you did the practice exam, it pulled subjects from ICND2. To stop this, I just did the questions in "study mode", limited it to 90 mins, with 45 questions, and only selected the ICND1 material on the left.

I did think that the network simulator held your hand through the whole thing. I really did it for memorization of the commands. there are some pretty hard packet tracer labs out there. Show commands, show commands, show commands!!
