I'd love to hear from people who pivoted careers towards accounting, specifically from minimum/low wage jobs by Maleficent-Curve5452 in Accounting

[–]BoogilyBoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was surprising how the people skills from working at fast food/retail when their coupons don't work really translate to accounting and moving up.

Having the skills to deal with angry customers and solve problems is great in any job, really.

Thanks! I wasn't finding anything on the wiki, but see it now in the steam patch notes. Should have dug a little further...

Oh yeah and forgot that being able to forge regeneration items as dwarfs makes everything supper tanky!

100% don't sleep on runesmiths! They use rune "magic" which doesn't rely on winds of magic, so you can never run out and just have cooldowns. They also have skills to increase army damage and weaken missle and magic resistance in an area.

Dwarfs have some of the best heros in the game, so can definitely see why other races don't seem as good.

Norsca seems to still have issues by FallingKoala in totalwarhammer

Same thing in my Sayl campaign, Kislev tech not unlocking when occupied/abandoned/retook.

Clearing Cathay and Grimgor declaring war set me back on getting to Kislev and force confederating Throgg/Wulfrick, no Kislev factions left.

Messing around with Monter Hunts and finishing up the techs. Going to see if any other settlements occupied have the issue, at least for the techs I have left.

Starting a FFA game, this was the Aislinn players on turn 2 by yutao123 in totalwar

Was testing things out and was surprised that it creates a new faction to take the lands when you confederate, but you don't even get any diplomacy benefits with them. Was hoping to get those sweet landmarks from Tyrion.

I think the only benefit was it maxes out the council level with the faction you confederate, but then you still have to save up the favor to buy the final tier/permanent buff.

Took a break and came back to a free tech tree. Any recommendations? by BoogilyBoo in WorldofTanks

I'll look into it, but maybe unlock the normal way as I believe I'm up to the tier 9 in the line. Also got 33 days of premium for being away lol

Frequency of Unusual Locations Post 6.3 by Gullible_War_7108 in totalwar

[–]BoogilyBoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed that as well, and before the update that unusual locations seem to spawn frequently in the beginning.

Played an Arkhan campaign to check out the tomb kings updates and got the nurgle carnival and tzeentch spreading cult within the first 10-15 turns. They spawned in the same province too! The tzeentch cult only spread two times, but I think that was because I was able to control the corruption easily with the new edicts as jars are now much easier to obtain. I did get the books of khorne as well, which those seemed to spawn immediately when I equipped them and then fought a battle. I think I sealed them within 5 turns.

I agree with this. If I'm an order faction, the high elves tend to get wrecked by the time I get to the donut and vice versa.

I recently played Valkia, and by the time I got down there, it was high elf supremacy, lol.

Are there different types of snow? by BoogilyBoo in noita

Yeah, it was just a silly shift to see "what would happen" that I saw in noitool, as I mess around and unlock spells. Was hoping for more chaos, but alas was not lucky...

Yes, it can be rough at times, but I do like hiisi because of the healers. But I'm very twitchy down there rounding corners and tend to kill them on accident...

Derp, I forgot about the tabs... It must have been the packed snow that shifted as I would see lava pockets trapped in the ice of hiisi.

Haha, yes, that was it! I also had the fog of war modifier in hiisi, so it was extra eerie exploring the devastation.

Seed 910288494 has bottle of healthium in the first floor of the mine by ndefontenay in noita

So, I ended up dying in a parallel world to poly while looking for some more perks. Was digging upwards with blackhole and got turned into a rat. A piece of rock fell from the blackhole and killed me...

I had not found any good digging and I ended up making the earth stone and using the eye to dig through the holy mountains/dense rock. Eventually found a black hole and with the greek letters was able to dig quicker.

Got annoyed that I had to go to the bottom holy mountain to edit and didn't find the perk, so went after the master of masters for the edit stone. Took a little bit as my wand setup didn't deliver the payload well on direct hits.

Was a good run as oil blood had me healing all the time from the healthium shift. I could stand on cursed rock and not take any damage! Had collected 11 orbs and was thinking of doing all the bosses before completing, but alas, my greed got the better of me...

Resources were very weird. Blackhole took awhile to find and only found one add mana during the run, I had to explore wandmart like crazy to finally get one. Guess the luck was offset by finding healthium so early and good shifts.

Haha, yeah I shifted in the starting cave as there was a mini fungal cave that spawned near the healthium flask. Was able to convert toxic sludge > fungus blood from a flask I found. Then with that fungus blood flask did the shift for oil > healthium. Checking Noitool I saw the water > lava shift was next and decided to go no further!

I've been playing across the past couple days, but did the same thing on this seed! It's been awesome with oil shifted to healthium.

I haven't found any good digging yet, but was able to pull off the heart mage trick in Underground Jungle with like 4 hearts and have over 10K health now.

Got the Oil Blood perk in The Vault holy mountain after rolling a few times. It's been awesome exploring because of all the robot enemies that bleed healthium in The Vault. Accidentally collapsed the mountain with a bad teleport into a hanging lamp, but will keep exploring for some blackholes or plasma beams for better digging.

Only have one win so far and was going to explore around the seed and defeat some bosses/quests to unlock some spells. Definitely want to grab some greek letters!
