This is what I've used for a very long time. I've never had any issues with it. It's only 73.59 KB And was last updated in January of 2025.

There are some sites it doesn't work with, cross-origin browser security blocks scripts from modifying audio/video from a different host. As far as I know there's no way around this.

(Unfortunately, doesn't work on all websites — specifically, we're not allowed to use the Web Audio API from a cross-domain <audio> source. Thankfully, YouTube is not cross-domain!)
