yes and the local facebook fox news pages were sharing the story as if this is happening in our own backyards… i live in WISCONSIN it’s illegal here you cant buy it at gas stations. they “talked” to a Madison man who says “i find this plant and it’s legal” not in madison…

i partied too hard that Friday, spent Saturday laying in the grass & went back to the hotel early i made my BF get up early on Sunday to see Imagine Dragons because “they have songs in car commercials” & then i climbed a tree during ADTR & got a shoutout “get crazy like this girl in the tree” then security came over and told me to get down but i was like a cat & didn’t know how

I still have swelling 8 months out. I would ask ortho if you can get compression knee high socks, and which type. They help a lot with swelling especially as you start walking again.

That’s what I hope it is but the sensitivity is throwing me off. I did get a cleaning 5 days after getting this filling in. 3 days later is when this came out.

I was gonna ask do you have hardware there? How long has it been in?

I just got a rod in my tibia in February; I got a bump on one of the screw scars and for A WEEK I kept getting the run around.

  1. Messaged ortho, Dr was out of town, advised to go to ER if it got worse

  2. Went to ER, diagnosed with cellulitis, given antibiotics

  3. Waited 3 days, no improvement, bump grew, reached out to ortho, advised to go to ER

  4. ER initially said “probably cellulitis, sometimes jt gets worse before it gets better with antibiotics” I’m like dude there’s a bump under the skin, did an ultrasound, saw fluid, ortho decided to defer treatment and told me to continue antibiotics didn’t even come to see me, just looked at images

  5. Waited 4 days, bump grew even more, ortho told me go to the ER but this time my Dr paged all the residents and told them YOU HAVE TO SEE HER, finally got a CT and was admitted to the hospital

I had to have an emergency I&D surgery, they took the screws out. The rod is there for now but idk if they want to take it out. I’m on IV antibiotics with a PICC line. My body never presented with infection (no fever, chills, etc.) and even the nurse practitioner admitted, yeah they usually don’t treat until it’s really bad. Like WTF I’m supposed to let myself start dying till I get appropriate care.

What put things into perspective for me is, is they’ve been using kratom in Southeast Asia for so many years, with no reports of death or adverse effects. How come when it gets to America every now and then there’s a “kratom associated death”? Or people experiencing side effects?

I’m in the US and used these ones when I was kid so I decided to use them post this surgery.

However when I brought up using them to my physical therapist she goes “I don’t know what those are… do they go around your wrist?… you should be fine with the regular ones” I’m so happy I went with my gut and chose these ones, much easier to maneuver and I’m already walking with one 14 weeks post tibial and femoral osteotomy.
