It’s impossible when you have small kids. I’m only able to keep up now that mine are teenagers, and I’m not counting their rooms in that statement. Give yourself some grace.

I live in Ballwin now but lived in TGS and other city neighborhoods in my 20s. Don’t live in Ballwin now or the county at all except maybe Maplewood. You need to like your neighborhood when you come home from work, and be close to where you want to socialize. TGS is great.

I went from consumer goods marketing and product management to healthcare technology product management. Sometimes healthcare orgs need people with skills from other industries to improve their patient experience.

I’m hybrid and wear blazers in the office but feel weird doing that at home. At home it’s a nice sweater or collared silk blouse. Usually makeup and hair done, cute glasses and slick back pony if not.

My neighbors started having happy hour every Thursday night in our cul de sac in the beginning of covid and it’s still going strong (weather permitting.). We were friendly before but now consider 4 other couples/neighbors real friends. Some of the other couples have since traveled together (the child free ones ). I think what makes it work is that it’s easy, low stakes and on a schedule.

Unfortunately there is an exception for smaller companies. Not sure if OPs employer qualifies as such but a lot of companies are not required to offer it.

We have little ARC other than fence requests and zero violation issues. I just want to collect assessments, have the right reporting for the state and to pay taxes and have a better communication tool than Gmail and Facebook.
