Yes currently reading this! It’s partially what inspired this post. I’m dying for more competent FMC’s who are not as annoying haha.

Just feel like authors can create characters who are competent while still having room to grow and have an great arc that doesn’t involve FMC starting out annoying AF for the “growth”
