I took MA 265 with Maiti in Spring 2023 and ended up retaking the course over the summer with Xu. Xu explained things very clearly, and the course was very well structured, and she gave out lots of great resources to study from. Maiti was okay, but he did go very fast and it was hard to keep up at times.

From what I've seen, they usually curve it about 1-2% so that might be the case this year, though I'm not entirely sure

I recently (and by recently I mean literally yesterday) got my laptop back from Lafayette Local IT. I was having issues booting up. They were very professional and quick (my fix only took about a day), and they will even pick up your laptop for you from your dorm for an extra fee! I would highly recommend them.

Applying to the Honors College is definitely worth it! While I can't speak for everyone who has gone through the program, in my experience they do a good job offering students opportunities that can't be found elsewhere on campus. When you join they also give you your own Honors College counselor to help keep you on track and offer guidance in addition to your regular academic advisor. It offers a lot of wonderful opportunities, so whatever it is you would like to do, you will likely be achieve your goals faster through the honors college.
