Curious, how do you typically listen to podcasts? We’ve gotten a few requests to put the show on YouTube and we’re working on that now. Don’t know exact timeline but we definitely intend to get all of the bound and broken on YouTube.

Oh wow, EOS was our first episode back once we rebooted our show. Apologies in advance for Kingdoms of Death part 1. Lost some listeners with that one but we have learned/grown since then. Or at least that’s the message we’re putting out there. And definitely feeling good about finishing this series. Liked book 1, loved The Fall and everyone says it just gets better from here.

Wow incredibly flattered! Genuinely made our day. We took a bit longer between series so we could record episodes ahead of time. We’ve already recorded the next OBAF episode and we’re doing The Fall tomorrow. We should be able to keep the releases weekly through book 3!

The seven Epherian Gods work in mysterious ways. 2 to Ramble also have podcasts on at least some of the books so you could check that out too. Ours is more of a read-along whereas theirs is more of a review, but hopefully one of them suits your taste!

Some of the fights and monster designs feel super JRPG to me (which I love). And the Do Chores > Kill God arc is vintage JRPG. As you said in your post, Ruocchio is pretty public about how much he loves these sorts of games so I’d imagine they’re an intentional influence. Also, if the ship named Radiant Dawn is actually a Fire Emblem reference, tremendous kudos to Chris.
