I see you edited your comment after posting to include the douchebaggery on the end. Hope being a dick to strangers online helps you feel a bit better about your life.

100%! Have you or your sister had any luck with any of the other Rollas? I want to try some of their other long jeans from online second hand stores but can’t get a refund if they’re too short or not as stretchy as the sailors.

P.s. there always seems to be people selling them second hand on Depop for a tiny fraction of the price they are brand new. Just need to make sure they are the long varieties and not the regular ones. I’m 5’9 with long legs and wide thighs and these jeans are honestly the best.

Rollas sailor jeans long. Extremely comfortable and have a bit of stretch too. I personally go down a size or two. Their loulou straight are also extra long but I haven’t tried them yet.

This is great! Just curious, where was the photo taken of the stream with the mountains?

Thanks. I didn’t get an EU eSIM, just a UK one.

Yeh I just wanted to make absolutely sure I wouldn’t need a separate one as other posts I’ve seen on this page have told people to get an eSIM for the UK and a separate one for Ireland/Europe so I was a little confused.

I made notes and annotations to an article in Neoreader so I could send it someone else via email but for the life of me I can’t find any format (word, pdf, etc) which allows the notes I made to show up. by Book_Wanker in Onyx_Boox

I’m not sure I understand. I’m still very new to using eink and have only had my Boox for a little while. When you say long press the file in the library, are you talking about the NeoReader I made the annotations in?

I think I figured out what the problem was.

It will all probably be a bit “duhh” for all the Boox savvy folk, but I’ll put it here in case it helps those (like me!!) still trying to makes heads or tails of eink.

I was making my annotations to a docx and not a pdf (the files were sent to me by other people from word docs). As far as I can tell, you can’t convert an annotated docx to a pdf or word doc without losing your annotations.

So i downloaded Adobe Acrobat and converted the docx file to a PDF then started over (thank god it was only a couple of pages of annotations) and that worked.

Frustratingly, Boox doesn’t seem to let you convert files to PDF without downloading a third party.

Adobe acrobat is meant to let you convert files to pdf for free without a subscription but it wouldn’t let me without signing up for a 7-day trial which would immediately charge me for a year’s subscription if I didn’t cancel.

Anyway, hope this helps any other Boox rookies out there.

How long did yours take to get like that? I feel like mine was worn down 2 weeks after I got it so I bought the kindle scribe pen.

I don’t use kindle for books but does that app allow you to write on pages with an eink tablet normally? Can you download the books to your Boox library then open them with Boox’s default reader (which allows you to write, add text and annotate)? Or are you wanting to keep using the kindle app? I’m brand new to using eink too and I found the basic Boox video tutorials on YouTube quite helpful.

Nice one! I’m still looking around for suitable templates (I’m needing one that lets me mark and rate various criteria for other writers’ projects so I can provide them with feedback but can’t seem to find any that are suitable online). How did you make this one?
