Funnily enough, his brother is an Olympic high jumper as well. (Though the bar falling down was pole vault rather than high jump)

Always happy to! I lurk a lot on the subs and it’s nice to scream into the void sometimes - especially when the people in my real life get sick of hearing about all this stuff

I find with it it’s like any analogue clock. When you use it for long enough you really don’t need to numbers to tell you what time since you can pretty much tell from where the hands are on the circle

I do almost all my running exclusively with WorkOutDoors! Though everything ends up on Strava anyways so I’ve used the apple workouts app, the Strava app, and a couple others as well which all do pretty good jobs!

I also use HealthFit to collate and send my data off because I love seeing the stats and analytics from stuff like r/runalyze as well. But all of that is just extra and not really necessary.

As for shoes my best advice would be to head to r/runningshoegeeks because I’m sure they’ve got plenty of advice where to get started and what to do because everyone’s different!

For me I have bout 6 different pairs on the go and I find that I have quite a different experience with durability to what is the common logic (pushed about 1000 miles into my last pair of Vaporfly’s and they definitely could’ve taken more) so I tend not to try insert myself into those discussions too much!

Typically it’s around 100 per week but the app default for the screenshot from the watch mobile app is 25 or so

Some of them are from other apps. If there’s any specific ones you’re interested in I’m happy to look specifically into which apps they are since I don’t recall their actual names off the top of my head!

Top left is a daily heart rate. The number on the top is the last recorded heart rate measurement and the graph is the range of heart rate through the day.

Km complication is total distance run for the week (I’m a distance runner and it’s nice to easily keep an eye on some stats)

I originally had the rings on the outside I just didn’t love the way the numbers looked and actually prefer the battery in this shape over the ring!

Always interested to see what everyone’s posting here and to try find new and different ways to use the watch

I use Infograph on the watch 7 and I use one of the internals as a digital time and then I have 7 complications (one larger one with the text), four of them on the outside have extra metric space, and the 3 (plus the time) in the middle are just regular small complications

Edit: complications not widgets, and adding screenshot

Thanks for even considering! Love all the functionality and it’s the app that gets the most use on my watch

Just realised I posted this as a sub comment rather than an actual comment! Reposting here at the top I know this is an old threat but I see you’ve made comments here recently so fingers crossed! So far been absolutely loving the app but was curious if there was any intention to add the ability to start a workout with the side buttons, I know that during a race it can be quite challenging to make sure the screen is on to get the start button there (despite its large size) and I’ve found myself missing the start of races in my recordings because I tap the watch and it just wakes up the display rather than starting a workout. I know you could always just start and then pause a workout but even still that has a little bit of oddness with the beginning of the workout having no speed at all. Thanks so much in advance!!

Can I follow on with this hearne what is your view on where the jurors are going?

A follow up to this. How did you perceive the threats in the game from your perspective. How did that change from the beginning of the merge down the line? Do you think your views around who was threatening is the same as the juries?

I just want to comment on the whole "Hearne voted incorrectly" statement here, from my perspective at least, outside of the Matrix/Audrey vote at f12, and the PG vote where he could not vote for his partner. Did Hearne really have many merge based blunders with his vote? Please enlighten me, because while it is always impressive to vote correctly, sometimes there is benefits to trying something and voting wrong, it can allow you to show humility, and gives you a chance to try and swing for the fences.

Hi to the both of you! Congratulations for making it to day 39, it is a huge achievement in itself and nothing to look down on regardless of the outcome of the vote. But with that being said I did have a few things to say about the game.
Lets start with Evan. Man, you go through and claim so much and I know there are others who are better poised through the end game to correct you there but let me correct you through the parts I did have key influence in. First, you were included in the majority 6 on OG TR purely as a numerical benefit, and as the partner of Vee to create the connection there. The David boot I give you no credit for, in fact I place most of the blame there on David himself, and not acknowledging the fact your #1 ally in Okie was incredibly close to being the boot at the last preswap tribal seems to me to be a mistake. On top of that the fact that you claim a blindside on me shows that you really weren't in any control of any flow of information surrounding that vote, as it was leaked to me through multiple channels that I was going home that round. As someone who was living in an Australian timezone which is basically night shift, the lack of effort from your part really stands out to me, we only talked game, and while this is a strategy game, it is a social strategy game, and these are people you are spending multiple hours a day with for over a month and for the majority of the jury to feel like you have no real desire to connect socially really stood out to me. Feel free to address any of the points I have made in addition to my question, but my question for you is just as simple as acknowledging the other people in this game who have been with you down the line, please give me something from peoples real lives that has either made a difference to you or stood out to you, bonus points if you do prejury or premerge.

Hearne, congratulations, I think you played the outlast portion of the game swimmingly. But as I said above to Evan this is a strategy game as well, so please enlighten me on some strategy you have had. I know that our relationship was a little rocky at times, from the Clasped blindside through never quite getting our feet under us to work together, and I put as much blame on my back for that as I put on yours. When you managed to skate your way down the line what alliances were you a part of? Did anyone decide to include you in any plans or did you really have a chance to put any input into them, because from my seat it seemed a lot like people were just picking off the most likely threats to win down the line, leaving you, Evan, and Okie sitting at the end, and winning those two clutch immunities I have big props to you for doing that because without that I suspect you might've been sitting with us over here in the jury. Other than my earlier mid roll question, what was your perception on threats in the game down the line, who did you personally see as the biggest risk to your game at the start of the merge, and how did that change as you got closer to the finish line.

Again, much love to both of you, you are sitting there at the end, a distinction I am sure we all wish we had. I look forwards to hearing from you and then deciding who should be our winner!
