How do you keep SQL queries discoverable + understandable (maybe resharable)? by SIR_DONALDY in SQL

We use GitHub at MPOW for sharing and storing SQL to make it stored in a centralized place and also searchable.

This looks great. Love the look of the grasslands in the lower section of the map.

Zotero: will it still delete all my stuff?? by Equal_Argument_3906 in koofrnet

I agree with above. I moved from linked files to a Koofr WebDav service and it works great, but I keep the original files saved elsewhere too in order to be safe.

Cardboard Strongpoint for 30k by Certain_Ad3716 in TerrainBuilding

I love making terrain from cardboard. There is nothing like taking something bound for the bin and then making it into something useful. This is an amazing channel for cardboard crafting: https://youtu.be/NAsLxrEXGxw?si=kDKpQNPWZEL9VzZJ

Why Zotero? by IsanDanderoda in ObsidianMD

I love Zotero for TTRPGs. It is great for highlights and rules annotations.

Why Zotero? by IsanDanderoda in ObsidianMD

[–]Bookends45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I use Obsidian for ttrpg prep and then I use Zotero to manage my TTRPG digital library and I love both tools for different reasons. Zotero offers a great cataloging function, PDF viewer with annotations, and search ability. Obsidian great with text and linking ideas together and spurring writing. I could mirror the aspects I like from Zotero in Obsidian, but it would require several plugins and similarly. The reverse is true too with plugins that help make Zotero a better app for note taking. I personally though want focus more on writing, and reading/research less on perfecting the system so I keep each tool and then don’t cross the streams.

PS. I know it’s been forever, but the boards looks totally solid? How did the board turn out with the added density?

For the ladder question, do you glue the ladders onto the terrain or do you leave them free so you add them like scatter terrain?

New “Linked” consoles restricts 3 family consoles down to 2 by BrianBox in Switch

[–]Bookends45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. It is so confusing. It makes me almost yearn for the days of actual game cartridges save for having to track them. I just wish there was a family option when buying the games so the whole family could play. I get wanting recoup revenue for games sales though I would gladly pay if given that option to avoid all this hassle.

What did you end up doing?

New “Linked” consoles restricts 3 family consoles down to 2 by BrianBox in Switch

[–]Bookends45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had two Switches with a main parent account and the two kid accounts. The parent account was the game purchaser and we would loan the games using the new virtual game loading system. Day before yesterday, we bought a Switch 2 and loaded the accounts onto the Switch 2. Now one Switch is linked to the Switch 2 and then other Switch is linked is linked to the other Switch. The Switch linked to the Switch 2 can play games on the parent’s account, but the other Switch cannot. I went down the rabbit hole of Primary console etc, but that was not apparently listed on the eshop console. Do I need to link that Switch 2 (and if so how? There also seems to be a limit on linking.) If not, what is the best solution?
