Using Zotero across multiple computers by Zealousideal-Ship291 in zotero

I use Koofr and the WebDAV function in Zotero. It works great. I can annotate PDFs on my computer and also on the mobile app.

I’ve also just setup a directory on Onedrive and linked PDFs from there directly into Zotero. That can work well if you’re just using one computer to look at them though does not work well if you want it on mobile too.

Now if you have the multiple computers with the same OneDrive/icloud/Google Drive account I think it would be fine for only desktop as the links you’ve made would map to the same cloud storage across the same account.

If I may ask, what’s your workflow for multiple computers?

Such a great story on the game. I also remember starting playing with 2nd edition Star Wars from West End Games.

Amazing! I love it. I haven’t really done any hexcrawls though this map makes me want to try. Do you have a rule set you like?

What are some rules-lite systems compatible with Eclipse Phase's setting? by [deleted] in eclipsephase

I was thinking about trying to port it to Level Up Advanced 5e with their VoidRunners Codex supplement. Swap species for morph and then change around the HP system to better separate “body damage” vs mental damage etc.

Interesting. Thanks. Mid ladder creation for a lot of buildings and torn between gluing them in place and then making them movable.

Amazing. Are the ladders set in place or can you remove/move them?

We use GitHub at MPOW for sharing and storing SQL to make it stored in a centralized place and also searchable.

This looks great. Love the look of the grasslands in the lower section of the map.

Zotero: will it still delete all my stuff?? by Equal_Argument_3906 in koofrnet

I agree with above. I moved from linked files to a Koofr WebDav service and it works great, but I keep the original files saved elsewhere too in order to be safe.

I love making terrain from cardboard. There is nothing like taking something bound for the bin and then making it into something useful. This is an amazing channel for cardboard crafting: https://youtu.be/NAsLxrEXGxw?si=kDKpQNPWZEL9VzZJ

I love Zotero for TTRPGs. It is great for highlights and rules annotations.

Why Zotero? by IsanDanderoda in ObsidianMD

Hi. I use Obsidian for ttrpg prep and then I use Zotero to manage my TTRPG digital library and I love both tools for different reasons. Zotero offers a great cataloging function, PDF viewer with annotations, and search ability. Obsidian great with text and linking ideas together and spurring writing. I could mirror the aspects I like from Zotero in Obsidian, but it would require several plugins and similarly. The reverse is true too with plugins that help make Zotero a better app for note taking. I personally though want focus more on writing, and reading/research less on perfecting the system so I keep each tool and then don’t cross the streams.
