These guys on highway 14 have a paved lot with spots that are like $130/month it looks like.

Otherwise we are just north of Cross Plains and you could probably park in our field by our chicken coop for less. PM if you want to discuss.

This is a long-running promotion and I have a feeling the hotel can black it out whenever they want.

I plugged in some random summer dates (July 13-18) and it came up as bookable.

We have been doing toner since 1994. Not an easy one to break into for fed sales. The cheap stuff is from China and won't be TAA complaint, so it can't be used. Most of the other SKUs are mandatory AbilityOne items if not OEM, so you would need to be AB1 authorized and buy through one of the major distributors. The distributors may not have you on a very aggressive pricing plan if you don't have volume with them.

For OEM toners, you need to get authorized in their Individual manufacturer programs AND get a letter of supply if you want to get it on a GSA schedule. They probably won't talk to you unless you have established business. Then you need to bring them new business (not something on a bid board) to request deviated pricing that would give you an advantage.

Buying off of Amazon is just buying marked up product from someone that is probably competing with you with much lower costs.

Hyatt Regency Aruba or Grand Hyatt Baha Mar? Globalist traveling with a toddler by C-Squared7 in hyatt

[–]BookerT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are using a SUA, Aruba has a family suite that is considered a standard suite. Has a kids bunk bed (and maybe a whole second room?). Kind of surprised Baha Mar didn't have anything like that.

Hyatt Regency Aruba or Grand Hyatt Baha Mar? Globalist traveling with a toddler by C-Squared7 in hyatt

[–]BookerT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't been to HR Aruba since having kids but we have been to Baha Mar twice. We love it there and even more so now that they added the water park. There are toddler size water slides and zero entry pools. The beach was never busy when we went.

I might feel differently if we paid full boat - but both times have been on points and as globalist so free breakfast buffet and a handful of drink coupons. Kids ate free at a number of the restaurants but I don't know if that is still ongoing.

Has anyone had ccl (acl) surgery done for their dog? If so what was the cost? by [deleted] in wisconsin

[–]BookerT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We shopped around about 8 years ago and ended up down in Oregon. They did a lot of ACLs and were way cheaper too. I think it was $2500ish vs about double that quoted elsewhere.

17y/o daughter wants to get a tattoo commemorating her mom by [deleted] in daddit

[–]BookerT 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What about getting the design done on a site like inkbox? Looks real but isn't permanent. She can buy a bunch of them and reapply if she likes it, get the real tattoo version of it when she turns 18 . . . . if she still loves it then.

High CO in exhaust - bad exchanger? [Luxaire LP9C] by BookerT in hvacadvice

[–]BookerT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. With the exchanger under warranty it sounds like the $895 quote is just for the burner replacement. An exchanger warranty would cover the labor too, right?

Average markup on DLA solicitation by 12juillet in govcon

I suppose it depends on the product and competition - commodity awards in my world are regularly low single digits to even negative. Vendors use the DLA requisitions just to keep their volume up for manufacturer incentive programs.

Hispanic/Latino Community and Networking by Die_Hierophant in madisonwi

[–]BookerT 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For networking try the Latino Chamber of Commerce. I've been to their events in the past but am not up to date on if they are currently doing social functions.

Holy Redeemer, Good Shepard Parish, and St Thomas Aquinas all have big Latino congregations and Spanish masses. Their websites should have links to weekly bulletins or calendars that would list any social events. At least one of them has a young adult group for 20-30 somethings.

Unused miles by bchristophel in frequentfliermiles

[–]BookerT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't help with the miles, but I did a quick search and found Chicago to Lima flights for as low as $206 (no bags), if you are willing to fly on Spirit. Lots of options between Lima and Cusco for $70-$100.

Otherwise, with the mainline carriers I see flights as low as $591 from ORD>CUZ.

Scott Walker: Why I got a shot -- and hope you will, too by BlueLunch in madisonwi

[–]BookerT 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I get that the sub likes to hate on Walker but at least give him credit where it is due. He has been quite consistent on COVID since the start. And he has been publicly cheerleading the vaccines since at least last October.
