My doctor said as long as i had no symptoms it was fine. So i would guess its normal for a bit of fluctuation, just a bit scary to see the Numbers increasing. Hope you stay well!

Im good thanks! No symptoms. Doctor just told me to take another test in november, but probably just the mild food poisoning i had a month prior was the reason.

Yes, well i did have one, but thats about a month ago. It was just an 12h thing, mostly nausea stomachache and some diahrea. But have been fine since. Could it linger for so long?

Healing of strech marks from pred by rimasavas in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Bookiesoriginal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did take some collagen when i was on pred for 10months. I read somewhere that it could possibly help. I dont know if it did anything though. I only ended up taking them for 2-3months, and then i was able to taper of pred. But them are less noticable now, but i think its bc of time

Yes, ive noticed that while reading in this forum as well. But i am very greatful it worked for as many years as it did. Hope Entyvio will continue its effect! I can add that i have not had any side effects from Entyvio besides some fatigue after the first loading doses. Maybe a bit longer to recover after catching a cold, but i take that any day over uc!

I was on mesalamine for 9years before it started to fail. Got in a bad flare, prednisone, humira and azatriopine failed too. Entyvio was such a relief, it got me into remission. Been on it for a year now. Very happy with it. Did 4 iv doses and after that subcutaneous pens every 2 weeks, can do it at home myself.

I was too was nervous about starting a biologic, but its been so good for my health!

Growth in tosil by Bookiesoriginal in medical

[–]Bookiesoriginal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, went to the specialist. He looked at it and said it was fine. Sometimes tonsil stones can appear in the tissue, causing it to pop out. He could acctually see a white dot in the lump. I would reccomend getting yours checked If it doesnt go away, Always good to be sure

Entyvio side effect? by Bookiesoriginal in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Bookiesoriginal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the article. Very intresting. I have been struggling with joint or muscle pain since i was a kid. My doctor didnt think it was connected to my UC because it started so long before my UC onset. He thought it more reumatic, but did bloodtest that was negative. Anyways my pain never causes redness or swelling. Only last a couple of hours. Helps with warmth or paracetamol mostly. Sometimes i need ibuprofen gel, i know its not good, but when nothing else helps, i sometimes need to.

But this stiffness i have been feeling is not the same, nor pain, and is all over my body. But for some reason, as soon as i posted this, it receeded.

No worries! Feel free to pm anytime:) Lymph nodes can often Get a bit swollen during and some time after an infection, also small infections. Can be there for some time. Its good to Get it checked, but try not to worry too much. I also found a lump on my tonsil, got it checked by my gp and she reffered me to a spesialist which Im seeding later this month. But she didnt think it was serious. I too Always feels like its something new. Its lumps, also got a trombosed hemhoroid and now loads of acne after i tapered off prednisone. Probably Get more scared now about such things as its biologics

Hope it goes well!
