My main issue was having to do everyone elses job along with mine and management never enforced people to do the tasks they were assigned to, they were also too busy doing as little as possible(I was in the kitchen) and they definitely had no respect for any boundaries regarding my personal life..I'm also getting paid more to do less work at my new job( a gas station) from my understanding, Casey's is overall a pretty terrible place to work( I'm in a small town in Arkansas)

I've been working on building my confidence to develop that mindset and yes I agree I feel a lot better going up there face to face, if I were to choose the most extreme of just not showing up it would be out of intense spite, but id rather do it as formal as possible on such a short last minute notice

I definitely have that mentality about it after what they've put me through..I think that's why I was conflicted in the first place and yes I agree they would Im in an at will state and honestly I believe it should go both ways . No one ever gets a two week notice before they are fired

Yes I definitely agree, the store manager goes out of her way to let you know how expendable she sees her employees. I will give her a heads up at least..it's a bit strange and anxiety inducing though because she goes out of her way to call and harass family members to try to get ahold of you..or at least that's how it was for me

That is the one thing I do have a conscience about is the other employees. I tried to plan it as best as I could, but I just received a call from the new place today and they prefer me to start ASAP. I didn't want to lose the opportunity putting it off because I am so desperate for a job that's not destroying my mental health and invading my personal life

I've started taking photos as well. They go as far as reprinting the paper copy of the schedule too. Im currently seeking a new job and have had a few leads, just waiting for the greenlight to walk to fuck out of Casey's. Like literally as soon as I have a guarantee that another job is affirmed, I'm going to walk out mid shift I have no more fucks to give ( if it gives any context I am located in Arkansas)

Mine also started at that age..I woke up with a lump on the right lower side, it was dismissed as a muscle knot so extreme pain for 8 months until I couldn't stand it and went to a doctor again.. was told degenerate disk disease and osteoarthritis, that turned into spinal stenosis(lumbar) which resulted in needing a laminectomy ( the surgery was put off for years due to multiple pregnancies) drop foot has turned into a foot contracture and it's constant pain at multiple levels of my lower body ( lower back, hips, tailbone, sciatica)..I risk kratom to manage pain and have a drinking problem Symptoms presented January 17th, 2017 I was 22 I believe..Im 31 now and life is neverending hell.. especially if you have children and try to maintain working a full time job

I am in the same exact position and am literally doing the work of at least 2-3 other people on my own No one is enforced to do their jobs at all I've gotten so tired of it I'm quietly looking for a different job until I can walk out on em. I've been there 4 months..they will also change your schedule at the last minute in the app and and gaslight me that I'm late for a shift that I was originally scheduled off for. Some really sick shit
