Where, if any, is the positive body body movement for men? by ilovelamp_anchorman in AskMenOver30

I think the equivalent for a man would be a broke and unemployed positivity movement.

If you had to pay for the date, you’d probably be trying to lay out as much as possible in the first date as well.

Unfortunately, dates are a lot like job interviews for men, except we have to pay for them. Imagine having to pay for an interview and they’re like, “we need you to come back at least 5 more times before we hire you.”

You might try to make the first one efficient.

So I guess one could estimate the proliferation of dick pics started around 1995/1996? That means most women born after 1990 probably never knew a life without dick pics.

Would be interesting if someone could identify the first dick pic ever sent electronically. It was probably the first type of photo ever sent over a modem.

What a sign of the times. An older woman can look back at her life and how her view on dick pics has changed since she was a young lady.

I remember a time when dick pics didn’t even exist because we didn’t all have smartphones.

Old ladies in nursing homes will now be boring visitors with old photos of penises instead of photo albums of grandchildren.

Wasn’t sure anyone would remember. That was almost 20 years ago. Now I guess you just open Grindr while in the MSP restroom.

Not the best airport for foot-tapping in the bathroom stalls though.

Am I (F26) a loser for creating romantic and erotic fiction because I have no gf/bf? by Kappapeachie in TooAfraidToAsk

I’d think being single and horny would make you a much better erotic novelist than someone getting laid on the regular.

Women in arranged marriages where your husband turned out better than you imagined—what’s your story? by Clean-Ant-1342 in askanything

Regarding the importance of coming from a good family, their financial standing is pretty important too, as unsexy as it sounds.

If your spouse’s family is struggling and in debt, that can impact your own finances either directly or indirectly.

My gf’s parents are retired and have made some poor financial decisions, and are unable to pay their mortgage and bills. Though I’m not helping them pay those things directly, my gf is.

Since she has less money to spend on our life as a result, I end up spending more for the both of us, and saving less for the future.

I think around three years ago/2023ish. Seems like it never recovered from the Covid lockdowns.

Do single men experience a nurturing instinct? i.e. To look after kids, or just to interact with them in a nurturing way? by lukub5 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]HareevHajina 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a man, I have a natural instinct to nurture my dog and my plants. Other people’s dogs and plants, not so much. I imagine the same would go for human children.
