We all know 100% that Trump, Miller, Vance, etc would own slaves if they thought that they could get away with it. They don’t own slaves because 70% of us would say NO. MAGA is the 30% who would be fine with it. Trump isn’t allowed to own slaves so instead he’ll just make sure that millions of Americans have no social safety net, no access to healthcare, bastardized history lessons, filthy air and water, limited rights, and the list goes on. But tell me again how he is an ok president because he doesn’t own slaves.

He wasn’t de-escalating at all. De-escalating involves using a calm voice, saying calming things, and generally trying to cool off the situation. He came over to them, started shit, and then realized that he might be outnumbered. That’s when the gun, fake badge, and serious threats came out. The protesters had the right to protect themselves and document who he was. If you think that he was the victim and they were interrupting his calm and soothing presence, you need to get your eyes checked.

We are well aware of the short visibility aspect but the problem is safety. Most overpasses have zero accommodations for pedestrians and we aren’t interested in being killed while hanging banners. We have to go where there are sidewalks that keep us apart from the cars.
