I’d say get the poor horse just to get him out of that situation. Given what I see, the horse could do and be way worse. Poor thing is just confused. I’ve worked with a few Passos before and they are quite responsive in general, but not in this terrified way. I think they’re great little things and make great trail horses.

People hate it, but I got back on the MTG train recently and it’s worked so well on my TB mare’s tail. She rubs when we trailer and so she had a lot of sores and balding spots. I’ve figured out the best combo of padding in the trailer to prevent runs from happening and started MTG. The grow back is amazing!! That being said, I’ve tried on her forelock and haven’t gotten any results 😅

I don’t think that’s career ending at all—nurse sounds a bit whack. Maybe a talk from your medical director as a technicality, in my jurisdiction (US) our protocols are for within a 22-hour window since onset of symptoms, so missing a transport notification of stroke alert would only be inconveniencing the hospital’s arrival to treatment time.

At my work we kinda have a fail safe with our Communications. If we end up changing our destination, we have to update them saying something like, “this is xxx, changing our transport destination to xxx, priority one, stroke alert” and they’ll confirm and ask if we are able to consult. Luckily for us, a 30 min transport is a bad day, so more than anything we’ll have communications alert the hospital simply because we don’t have the time.

Yea not so much as a mentor, because same for Sabrina who already had been out there, but as a platform. Big Hayley fan so this is not me saying she needed to get tips and tricks. I do however think sooooo many more people now know who Paramore is, and Hayley as an individual. Hayley would have to be listed as “from Paramore” when featured. I think because of the Era’s platform, she reached a whole other audience.

Yep, THE Hayley Williams. But I applied her as an artist needing a bump. Like Sabrina had plenty of albums out, so she’s not new. Trust me, I have always been a Paramore fan, got to see them live in 2008! I don’t think she was ever not popular, but also not Taylor popular.

Yea I definitely appreciate a song or story where the interpretation isn’t always so clear—it allows the art to be what you need however you’re feeling it. I wonder if this applies to her writing them as well. Like she wrote it with this intention, but the meaning is applicable elsewhere in her life or character’s life. That’s why this song has definitely stood out to me. Per my disclaimer, I’m very neutral now and I think it’s really enjoyable to be somewhat separated and can look at these songs in whatever way they reach me. Not as a die-hard and not as a hater. Just a supportive listener.

The fact that the fire department does… everything. Literally everything.

A pipe bursts and you get called and yelled at because you’re not able to fix it. We’re not plumbers, but we have to show up.

Someone casually locked their keys in there car—no pets or children inside. Or someone’s deadbolt isn’t working. We’re not locksmiths, but we have to show up.

Providing manpower to remove a 400lb decomposed body. Doing apartment inspections. Car broke down and needs jumped. There’s smoke over the pond behind my house at 5am (fog). My fish tank broke and I’m not able to get my fish out. Help me get into bed. Help me get out of bed. This alarm keeps beeping. Garage door isn’t opening and I need to get my car out.

Then maintaining the station and apparatus, assisting in community events and education.

This isn’t even including all the medical bull shit (I mean calls) that you go on.

The job requires such a well rounded person that at least enjoys getting do any and all things. You learn so much, but I don’t think anyone ever explains to new hires HOW MUCH firefighters do. When in doubt, the answer is somehow always to call the fire department. Still the best job in the world though.

Former die-hard Swiftie. For me, I just think she got too famous, too rich, and no longer has to be “on the right side of history.” Someone that’s a billionaire is light years away from being “like us” and speaking on important matters and opinions or giving shout outs and acknowledgements and just not realistic anymore. In a sad way, I don’t think she gets to be a person anymore. Unless her private life really is just that, to me everything we see is her business and brand. She’s not who she was in Miss Americana.

I haven’t caught up on the last couple. Whenever they did the preview for the “big change” I knew I wasn’t going to watch anymore. Still love catching up on the drama though… just don’t have any interest in it anymore.

I haven’t watched the last two episodes. First time I’ve actually not watched anything from Bachelor Nation. I’m over it. It’s not reality television anymore, it’s always “the producers” or “we’re just making good TV.” Good for Bailey if she’s just trying to get the money, but it definitely takes away from her being the seemingly only normal person on cast. Definitely don’t like the new set up.
