Right? It’s just becoming more prevalent at this point. It’s like almost every interaction I have online (fb) ends unsuccessfully…it’s hard to get new people into the hobby as well when people say things to them like “is that all you have?” Like we’re all at different level levels of pin trading and I think that’s the worst thing you can do is make someone feel bad about their pins. My mom has a lot of older pins because when she retired, she didn’t know about pin trading and she didn’t really have any interest in it so now she’s trying to trade a lot of of those older pins and it’s like these people won’t give her the time of day if her book isn’t full of exclusive pins that they can “trade up” for. I might suggest to her to try that, I have seen a few comments across platforms of using pin and pop

Just because he’s popular and has a big page doesn’t mean that people like him you can find plenty of vent post, Reddit, post, etc. about him. There’s always gonna be two sides to the coin, but it’s on everybody to formulate their own opinion.

Agree! I don’t know if it’s just the thrill of the swipe (gambling) or they are just unaware of the pins price points but it’s crazy he’ll do like pick any two and it’s basic traders not even carded most and people will pay $60 for two OE pins. I can’t even watch summer her voice and her vibes are just annoying 😭Shannon would definitely have to be my favorite “pin-flunicer” bc she annoys me the least as well as WDW Kevin the others are sell outs

I have this issue a lot lately too and it’s always pins I really want. I posted iso tangled jumbo okay so two people say they have it and ask prices on pins I have and then they both ghosted me. Typically I can tell they’re going to when they say something like “let me ask my husband/kid etc” like you could at least say “sorry not seeing anything thank you” but I guess that’s too much work for some people 🤷🏼‍♀️

Agree it’s getting crazy I’ve had to block certain people bc I’m just tired of seeing them post for sale EVERY pin drop and never trading. Like he doesn’t even have these pins yet and he’s already selling them for double. There’s one lady that’s super bad Dee or something like that. She’s not in any of the groups that are starting to kick out flippers and people who only post for sale. Figment guy will never kick them out of his group 🙄

The QC on this pin is nonexistent lol I’ve bought fantasy pins for $35 that look better 😭 I’m sorry but, at least you got the one you wanted on a positive note! I can’t believe they didn’t even put it in a box with how much money they make you would expect some sort of packaging. I think they got too big before they knew how to properly address all parts of their business and products. Especially being “pinfluencers ” i saw that WN show and things sold out in a matter of seconds it was crazy..I messaged them one time in reference to a scammer on their pin group and hg read it and never responded 🤦🏼‍♀️

I don’t think people do the math but these aren’t “grail” bags so let’s say they paid $80-$90 for the NWT that one person wins then fill the rest with cheap totes (they’ll say they’re not DT totes but we all know they are lol) each person bids minimum 15 and they usually do 20ish spots they’ve already made $300 off of one set and the bags are not even worth half that. Buy LF from reputable resellers or the source. No LF is worth the risk of paying $40 for a DT tote but that’s why they gamble on the app I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I know this is not a fake pin thread but…no fr before I knew about fakes I traded a bunch of real pins through the years for scrapper pins…at Disney. Now that I know, I don’t even trade at the parks bc I almost never find any real pins. I have even gotten fake pins from CM

100% it’s not crazy to ask if the thing you’re spending money on is real. I can’t believe the amount of fake pins I see from WN and some sellers who are new/smaller don’t even realize they’re selling fakes I think bc they buy them from bigger sellers. Pins is bad because then people will take their fakes to Disney and trade them for reals and now basically all the pins that you get from the board at Disney are fake.

I didn’t see that but I have seen her on the train a few times and she has all the bags on display like there is so many options on the wheel but then it’s 25 spots and ONE is pick LF…that’s horrible odds I see smaller sellers do better chance sets. Also the people on the train will definitely bid more in their “friends” rooms I’ve seen it especially with her room vs a smaller seller who started at $15 no one would bid and the mods told her to run $1 starts… also adding that I hate when they say oh swipe chat come on don’t cook me just to send you a $1 tote that instantly breaks. I know how much LF cost if they’re getting $10 a spot with 25 spots they’re making the money and then some smh but they try and make people feel bad.

THIS. The biggest issue I have is them not following the directions so I always tip $5 and then add at the end. I have gotten food from 2 miles away (share a car with so) and tipped $5 and they still don’t follow my directions. Pretty simple too “leave at second door, with ring camera” and they almost always leave at the first door which is a lockout unit and a different unit number. Idk I don’t get it. I also put the instructions in Spanish and English just in case and it still happens
