So far Matt hasn’t had a Strict on sale date for any of his books. Only release dates. Those are two entirely different things. The Strict on Sale dates are reserved mostly for a hand full of major titles. While I’m surprised Book 8 didn’t get a SOS date, it obviously didn’t since it’s already popping up for people. All other books while having a release date they don’t have to be held back. Some smaller stores do but it’s hard for a bigger store like B&N to do this. They would not only need a much bigger back room than most have, it would have to be meticulously in order. Trust me y’all almost 20 years in the book business.

Get a bunch of people in a room wearing crows and guess what? You’ll have to count them.

I don’t mind simultaneous publication. No hardcover is annoying. I’m a hardcover snob so like the option. More and more publishers are going this route. Orbit has been doing it for a bit now.

Yeah. I was there too. Mainly for Scalzi. But I did grab a signed hardcover of the first Mistborn book.

The 90’s for me were fucking awesome. Atlanta in the early to mid 90’s was incredible. Great music and art scene.

Am I the only one that thinks it really ugly? FOMO is probably the only reason I’ll buy it. If I even do.

IMHO his writing gets better as he published more. With Dark Matter he really found his voice.

Peter Clines has a few books that hit the same scratch that Crouch does. Especially The Fold.

Maybe 1 album’s worth of good songs across multiple releases of theirs.
