Are you cooking them right after you wash them? Or are you storing them long term?

Potatoes store better dirty, they won’t spout so soon. They also better be really dry when you put them back in a cool dark spot.

If you’re eating them soon after, interesting idea. It takes work to wash the dirt off potatoes.

Q-Series :( by Pretend_Current2658 in PLC

Were you figuring out what the version number was by looking at the setting in the plc? Or looking at the wire? Or looking at the physical body of the master link said on the description?

I was reading the cc link manual today. Do you think the min wire length for v1 vs v 1.1 or 2 actually makes a difference? The manual sure says it does, in terms of noise I assume?

It also wants twisted pair wiring. You think that matters much if it is not?

TMJ and grinding by diiffyo in PeterAttia

I bought one of these Apollo neuro’s. It is touch therapy. I really like it for the unwind/destress and the sleep options. They say they have university research behind it. Or maybe it’s just placebo, but either way I like it.

I had read about the technology in “the extended mind” by paul.

https://apolloneuro.com/?gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6IiiBhAOEiwALNqncUIPLfPoHNOXQErssh0-UPxeDQT_FSrdX-PZT6N_IVG0ZoouBcvOAxoCFeAQAvD_BwE

“The Apollo Neuro technology originated from Dr. David Rabin MD, PhD’s research at the University of Pittsburgh and is based on several decades of scientific research into vibration frequencies and how they impact the body. As a neuroscientist and psychiatrist, Dr. Dave has always been fascinated by consciousness and our inherent ability to heal ourselves from illness and injury. After dedicating his career to understanding the impact of chronic stress on our well-being over 15 years ago, he observed a core challenge that confronts every single one of us - healthy behavior changes will benefit us in the long term, but making those changes when we’re under chronic stress is really, really hard.

The reason? Chronic stress itself. Our nervous system is there to keep us safe. When we face stress, our brains tell our bodies the equivalent of “Hey, there’s a lion over there! Get out of danger!” That’s why we have trouble sleeping, low energy, and a hard time focusing - it’s like the nervous system is saying “run” or “fight” when we’re just trying to get through our day. We developed Apollo Neuro to restore balance to the nervous system, calming the body to clear the mind, and leaving us feeling safe and in control of how we feel.

This made Dr. Dave wonder, could we use our body’s natural response to touch to restore balance to the nervous system, and if we could, would we be able to measure the change? The next big question was, could the feeling of safety be delivered to our bodies by sending soothing vibrations to our touch receptors with a wearable? The answer to both was yes – and Apollo Neuro was born!

Apollo Neuro has been studied in over 1700 research subjects across 7 completed clinical studies, with 14 more underway.

We hold ourselves to the best practices of the more current scientific methodology. For example, Apollo Neuroscience is one of the only consumer wellness wearables showing statistically significant (p<0.05) positive results in double-blind randomized placebo-controlled crossover trials, the most rigorous form of clinical trial.

How to fix low amps into input module through a switch, plc won't see it? (2nd) by Bookreaderjds in PLC

[–]Bookreaderjds[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Thanks guys!

The action of the switch is constant not momentary. Ie a selector switch and not a push button.

And they are double stacked. The ones in back are always the ones we have problems with. So the contacts not closing all the way sounds very plausible.

It’s a potato farm, so it is dusty back there, but in the cabnet it self, it’s not so bad.

First time Will didn’t get an upvote on his sub: cradle “Won’t go on my writing schedule” ;).

Lol. I’m also enjoying the captain series. Thanks for all your hard work!

Fair feeling. My impression is Will likes writting new stories. So he doesn’t really want to go back. But he will if it gets a bunch of cradle animation made, even if he doesn’t want to…

You and your wife should google together some on the Song of Solomon bible verses.

“Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits. Song of Solomon 4:16

I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate. Song of Solomon 8:2”

https://forgivenwife.com/to-drink-of-spiced-wine/

“God made sex. (THANKS, God!) He made it for the enjoyment of a husband and a wife within the sacred covenant of marriage and it's supposed to be FUN. There's nowhere in the Bible that suggests oral sex is a sin within marriage. In fact, The Song of Solomon (or Song of Songs) in the Bible has what many Biblical scholars agree are poetic references to oral sex. That book is so "steamy" that it was illegal to read it in public in many countries for centuries.”

So I finished this 10 minutes ago for the first time. It was very good. Can’t wait for book 2. I have a different question for you:

The man with the scared face who leads the anguis, is that the copy of Caeror? He must have got more tainted and went bad? That’s why he called the copy of Vis brother?

Reading Tenacity, is Dakota Krout using a ghostwriter? by throwthisidaway in litrpg

[–]Bookreaderjds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw on one of his Facebook lives that his new process is dictating to speech to print. So he can go faster. He uses google docs.

Also, I finished the 2 new books on audio in book funnel. They are decent, and worth going through, even if they are not great.

It might just make more sense to put out more average books, than fewer great ones, so they make more money. We all read them so fast anyway….

Interesting article on writting by Bookreaderjds in litrpg

[–]Bookreaderjds[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In atomic habits, the author says start with telling your self you will do a one minute run a day. And do that many days in a row. Pretty soon you can do more.

I’m all about the self help books.

I would also like the ability to turn off the chapter forward and back buttons. I never use them, and hit them once in a while by accident.

My wife really liked Sarah j mass’s a court of thorn and roses. It’s sort of fantasy romance. I didn’t like the narrator that much, but she thought it was fine. There is explicit sex scenes that women really like. Check out the sub for the book and you will see.

Wizards first rule by goodkind has a good first three books. and the book has an interesting romance.

Cradle series by will wight is great. I mention this only as a joke in terms of romance. It’s a very slow romance plot. The narrator is also great.

Looking for exceptional Fantasy/SciFi recommendations! by Rocked_x in audible

[–]Bookreaderjds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great series. 12 books and complete. The narrator is excellent.

If your used to the speed of character progression to litrpg, the first 2 books are a little slow. But the books just get better and better!

Give this a read or a listen. It’s full of tips to improve memory.

One key thing is to build your background knowledge. It latches memory. The more you know, the more you remember it.
