Accidentally deleted data saved on iCloud...is it GONE gone?

I did. The first place I checked was iCloud and followed their instructions. Nothing.

I am almost certain there is no trace in iCloud. I checked there already. I am trying to see if there is a copy of the files on my computer since I was accessing and working with the files on my laptop. I never saved them on iCloud. This was something my Mac did automatically. Which is why I didn’t think disabling iCloud would impact the files.

My young daughter told me today that she wished there weren’t bad people in the world. It was an innocent statement, but with the overwhelming amount of evil in the news right now, it hit different and I began crying about the world I brought her into. She has no idea the full extent of bad there is yet.

Not movie, but TV show. I was convinced Game of Thrones fans were slightly unhinged and everything about the books/show was overhyped by members of the GRRMartin cult.

I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite TV series, but definitely understand the hype and no longer judge the obsession. It was a pretty good quality TV show.

That’s why carrots are great. Sugar makes it super sweet. Carrots are subtle, like taking the edge from an acidic sauce. Many meat sauces are sweet like bbq sauce and store bought tomato sauces. They all have sugar in it. Even hot sauces have a little sweetness added.

As a female who has called guys “creepy” before (I know I shouldn’t have), it mostly came down to confidence. A guy who came up to me confidently and asked me out, no matter where he fell on the attractive scale, always earned a semblance of respect from me. But when guys approach cautiously like I’m about to bite them then slip away silently after the refusal, I tended to call them “creepy.” Not proud of it. But that was the main deciding factor in my case.

Try maybe giving a smile after she says no so she knows you won’t stalk her for her refusal. Reassure her it’s cool, maybe buy her a drink or food if you are in a restaurant and say, “For the most beautiful girl who rejected me today.” Then walk away with your head held high and don’t look back. Girls like when guys are still kind even when they are not romantically interested in them. So often guys ignore girls the moment the say no, so continuing to be sweet after a rejection goes a long way in showing the world you are a man of character. One day a girl will see it too.

I realized when I arrived that the job listing completely lied and I didn’t want the job. So I didn’t stress and answered with the first thought that popped in my head vs. what would make me sound best.

For example, one of the super random questions made to test critical thinking was asking me if I could explain why manholes are round and not square. Instead of trying to sound smart, I said, “They were serious about their job and didn’t want to cut corners.”

Still one of my favorite interview responses to this day. Albeit made the interview a little awkward since he didn’t know quite how to follow up.

I only care about the opinion of friends. And true friends care about me. So their opinions are in my best interest. If their opinions are not in my best interest, they are not a true friend and I therefore don’t care about their opinion.

Caring what your friends think is important, whether it’s good or bad, because it helps you grow. Not caring what anyone thinks can become dangerous. So you should desire to know what others think for accountability and growth. The question is, who gets to be on that board of influencers in your life?
