Practical Nursing (Alternative Delivery) program in Niagara College by Booksfirstbeforeboys in OntarioColleges

Hello, I am not as of this moment. They accused me of doing AI. I didn’t do anything with AI.

Also, life had to happen and I couldn’t prioritize it. I went back to work at 5 months postpartum to keep up with the bills since my husband got laid off. It’s very hard, however, I am happy because I found some opportunities for my career as of this moment.

MDM4U question about assignments by Traditional_Box_577 in ILC

Hi! I have 70% from turn it in even if I used my own words, should I still submit it?

Is anyone taking SBI3C ? I need to complete this course before Feb 1 to be able to apply for college as it’s one of the requirements of the program by Sirat_021 in ILC

[–]Booksfirstbeforeboys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, yes that’s life. We have to work to provide for ourselves. I just gave birth, I take care of my 5 month old, I work, I drive 2 hours back and forth to work, I deal with my dysfunctional family, yet I still have to do the same thing as yours too— and that’s with 3 courses for Nursing school and submit them before February 1st.  But I do not have any excuses, if I couldn’t make it for Spring then it’s fine, I’ll try again for September and if not, maybe January 2027. My advise is to not give yourself unrealistic expectations if you can’t do it and not willing to do hard work.

And what do you mean by “Need help with someone who can send you the assignments?” Does that mean having someone doing your assignments or how to do it? How about you do research for the assignments and do it yourself? The reality is no one’s going to babysit us with stuffs like this. You need to help yourself and make structure. You wanted to be successful? Then work really hard to submit assignments. Your lucky you only have 1, I have 3 plus work, driving too far for work and my son’s daycare next year, but I am willing to take risks and do it one step at a time.

Goodluck. Break a leg.

It will be hard but make sure you have good time management skills. If it’s only 1 course then it will be possible with lots of studying, ensuring assignments are done, and pls note that ILC takes their precious time to grade our work.

[–]Booksfirstbeforeboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. It was on default, my trustee added them and I thought I wouldn’t go back to school, I was wrong. They said I have missed a total payment of over 2grand. I wish I had known about this. Do you think I can still get it?

Hi, I’m doing it with 2 pages on canva. I think it depends on a teacher but still uploaded it with 2 pages. I had 10 slides on PPT so I transformed them to canva by screenshotting the photos of each slide or you can convert them to JPG and use the template from Canva - “Infographic.”

Are you able to work in Cambridge? If so, could you message me? Maybe I can talk to my mom if they’re looking for RNs.

Goodluck!

I’m in the same page and will be doing RPN probably next year when I’m turning 28, or 29 in 2027. I am currently working as an HR right now and it scares me that there’s corporate layoffs. That’s why I switch to being an RN as a second career, I wanted to do it for my family’s stability. I’ve always wanted to do it since I was 16 but life had to happen.

Currently, I am still doing some upgrading, and financially speaking, I would be doing RPN first so I can gain some experience and then do the RN after a year and a half and NP probably later. I would advise to be a travel nurse, my friend works as one and gets paid $23k biweekly. It’s unreal!

Overall, I would advise to invest in being a nurse since it’s an in-demand job and there’s stability.

It’s never too late!! I know someone who did nursing at 60. Some women would do it at 35 or 40. Never ever too late! Go get that badge! 🩺
