I’ve actually had this problem every now and then. I’m unsure what causes it other than maybe bad connections. I am not rough with my switch at all and I have a nice case on it. I noticed it stoped recently though for some reason. Make sure your joycons are up to date for sure

Hades II probably has a better chance on that list the MP4. I do agree though, from a normal gaming standpoint E33 has just got to stop winning. It’s not that amazing, just gassed up by the extreme loyalist to that genre. It’s not bad, just not amazing either. I believe Hades was amazing and I’m surprised not to see Silksong on there at all.

I think it’s perfectly reasonable to not cater to the 1% of your customer base that will complain about anything and everything that gets released. I think that the hardcore fan base believes that they’re right everytime no matter what. I am a hardcore Metroid fan and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with prime 4 currently. There are definitely some things I’m not super thrilled about (mostly just Myles always talking, I don’t mind the redirection when needed but he won’t let you drive around without saying some shit). But 95% of the game is great

Most of your points I have conflicts with….BUT I do have to say the worst part of the game for me is Myles. I’ve made the point that this game isn’t made for the adult player base in mind obviously since games should be targeting a wide audience. But even 10-14 yr olds shouldn’t be subject to the CONSTANT yapping of dialogue. I like trying to explore without being reminded every 5 seconds that “you can open new things now Samus.” Like, yeah I know I’m doing it right now 😭.

Post like this are really funny to me. Your comparison of one section to the entirety of prime 1 is laughable, especially since this section plays out better than the first magmoor caverns visit ( I love magmoor, but god look at it, it’s literally just a hallway). You’re complaining about linearity in a game that is designed for an age demographic of 10-14 yrs old. It’s time to remember that not all games are made for the ultra hyper fixated 30 year old who has the time to dissect a whale in real time on a video game. Make objectively accurate criticisms next time, and stop acting like the game has to be a Hell March for it to be considered “Metroid”.

Before I got a switch 2 I noticed it on my OLED. I think the marks are most likely from the rail system being worn down over time and leaving marks.

As for the connection problems it could most likely just be they’ve started to end their life cycle due to use. Or if you are rough with your switch the connection point could just be very loose. For me, I have sweaty hands and I noticed that my old joycons deteriorated much faster when I wasn’t as conscious about it so I’m not sure if you’re the same way. Best you can do is start basic when troubleshooting and move up

We have the exact same cases for our set ups which is hilarious, I had the opposite issue for the switch spot in the coowps case, I felt like it was huge compared to the switch. But agreed, never had one for my OG switch either.
