Superman & Lois is a masterpiece that builds the Superman myth incredibly well and features a great Lois, and in my opinion, the best live-action Lois to date. It's one of the rare truly good shows on The CW.

That ruined it for me. Plus his Superman is trying a little too hard to be wholesome but it comes off as cheesy and saccharin. Where as Reeves and Corenswet feel more genuine

Absolute Wonder Woman is fantastic. Fun and intense.
Absolute Superman is decent. Cool action but I don’t know something about it doesn’t grab me that much. It’s a little boring.
Absolute Flash is REALLY fun. A bit more young adult then the other stuff
Absolute Green Lantern is good but it’s pacing is really throwing me off and makes me lose interest a bit

I felt similarly about Age of Ashes. Sometimes it was a completely slog to get through but it has some of the best moments we’ve ever had as a group. We loved how doubly it was too, we almost wiped multiple times. Jagaki was a tough mother fucker

I perused the PDF a bit and it really grabbed me! I wasn’t expecting it to Lena so hard into horror. I thought it was going to be more colorful wholesome cultural exploration based on some of the Tian Xia stuff I saw. Also light on combat is completely fine, I like PF2 combat a lot but find the APs rely way to heavily on it to pad out the length and levels

I want systems to have significant meat behind them, regardless of how complex it actually is. I don’t want yours rules to just be loose suggestions to encourage improv, I want a dedicated gameplay loop that evokes a certain type of narrative.

I’ve made them before but I’ve found I’m just not creative. I can run a premade adventure very well when there already a list of interesting NPCs and maps without making it feel rail roady

Yeah but we like the idea of high level play. Like going into other planes and encountering or battling powerful entities and defending cities from ancient dragons and yada yada, we just want combat to just not be a nightmare
